About this property

Luxury Country house with Spa

Surrounded by mountains and forest wonderful Strathlachan Lodge has beautiful views from all room and is located in the tiny hamlet of Strathlachlan on east Loch Fyne which has only 8 other cottages . The whole property is wood lines internally and painted in farrow and ball pastel shades giving it a lovely feel .We have high quality furnishings and fittings throughout a log burner in the lounge, hot power showers in the bathrooms with underfloor heating great beds and bedding Infinity high speed wifi a Sonos sound system fully equipped kitchen with falcon gas range cooker . Outside we have large mature wooded gardens front and rear, two relaxation decks 3 patios and car parking for 4 cars. For 2021 we have added a mini spa which has Finnish sauna changing room with shower outer relaxation/quiet room and outside a 6pers his spec jacuzzi with outdoor shower .

Why they chose this property

The original front part of the lodge is over 300 years old and was previously called Port-An-Drain which is Gaelic and refers to a long abandoned settlement over the headland on the shore . The property is completely wood lined internally which gives it a charm and a comforting calm feel which you notice immediately on arrival. The views in all directions are out over open countryside to hill and forest and if relaxation is what you seek look no further .

What makes this property unique

The unique benefits of the lodge are its location combined with its quality and professional presentation. In practical terms apart from the main house we have a fully equipped luxury mini spa with sauna, hot tub, two ,showers changing room and relaxation room all finished and presented to lux hotel standards.
