Cottage was located in a perfect situation for our two dogs - surrounded by woods (and squirrels!). For the humans Hill of Tarvit is near to Cupar and St Andrews and to the south an easy drive to Largo and Leven beaches.
Everyone we met was friendly and helpful.
The Cottage itself was fine and the location good for visiting Fife.
I am aware that the NTS is short of money and that explains why things were not always as they should be. However we enjoyed our stay and can recommend it to any one wishing to visit Fife.
Good for peace and quiet and dog walking. A nature lovers cottage
