The Pines is a spacious, comfortable apartment on the first floor with easy access on to Luccombe Road. There is an open plan living room/dining room with newly refurbished kitchen with brand new appliances including dishwasher. The double bedroom has a 5ft bed with en-suite bathroom which includes a bath with shower over, basin and loo. The second bedroom has zip and link 3ft beds which can be set up as a twin or a super kingsize bed. The third bedroom has 3ft bunk beds. There is a separate shower room. All bed linen and towels are provided for the apartment - we just ask guests to provide their own pool/beach towels.
All the apartments at Luccombe Villa have fully equipped kitchens with fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven and gas hob.
Guests have access to the communal Amenity Room which includes two washing machines and a tumble dryer (£2 per load), tourist information and books, games and DVDs for all ages.
There is space in the twin room for a cot or z-bed.
Dogs are very welcome at Luccombe Villa. The Burrow, The Warren and The Den are all on ground floor apartments with their own small private patio area. Cherry Tops is on the first floor with a balcony. I'm afraid dogs aren't allowed in the communal guests' garden. However, the apartments are located opposite Rylstone Garden and a minutes walk from Big Mead – a large open area – ideal to let off all that energy first thing in the morning. Dogs are allowed on the beach to the south of Shanklin Chine throughout the year.
Luccombe Villa Holiday Apartments occupy a wonderful, quiet position just a short stroll from Shanklin Chine which takes you down to Shanklin beach at a small cost for a weekly pass, Rylstone Gardens and Shanklin Old Village. There is a slightly longer route to the beach through the Old Village which takes about 10-15 minutes to walk. SHANKLIN, ISLE OF WIGHT
Luccombe Villa Holiday Apartments occupy a wonderful, quiet position just a short stroll from Shanklin Chine which takes you down to Shanklin beach at a small cost for a weekly pass, Rylstone Gardens and Shanklin Old Village. There is a slightly longer route to the beach through the Old Village which takes about 10-15 minutes to walk (Appley steps which previously had been a short cut to the Shanklin beach have now been closed permanently by the IOW council). The nine self-catering holiday apartments range in size from one to three bedrooms. They are well equipped and all benefit from free wifi. Pets are welcome at Luccombe Villa and some apartments have private outside areas. All guests can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool (heated from May half term to September) set in the secluded garden. Luccombe Villa lies on the Island's famous Coastal Path which you can follow to Bonchurch, Ventnor and, finally, to the south tip of the Island.
