Perched on the hillside of a working farm, Herdsman Hut is a new and modern Glamping Pod complete with underfloor heating, mains electricity and plumbed-in facilities, plus stunning views overlooking Underbarrow and further to Scout Scar.
The 1-bedroom Glamping Pod is a stunning option for a relaxing or perhaps a romantic getaway from the busy town or city life. After a day out exploring the Lake District of walking on the fells, return to relax on the patio with a glass of wine or perhaps a BBQ. The Herdsman Hut has been expertly built to provide high-quality furnishings and fittings that will provide a fantastic stay.
The Herdsman Hut can be hired alongside its identical neighbour, The Shearing Shed. Situated within the Lake District National Park, High Gregg Hall Farm in Underbarrow is just a 15-minute drive from Windermere and 10 minutes from Kendal. A 5-minute walk away is the popular Black Labrador Pub, which offers fantastic food and a great choice of ales.
New addition for Summer 2023 is an outside Wood Fired Kirami Hot Tub and a Lazy Jane fire pit.
One well-behaved dog is welcome for an additional cost of £25.00 per stay. Additional dogs by arrangement. Please note that dogs must not be left unattended or permitted on the furniture. You must also please remove and properly dispose of all dog waste. Any mess or damage left may result in further charges.
