Fabulous family vacation home!

Can't begin to tell you what an awesome experience we had at the Ballyquirke house! What an amazing restored and updated structure, while maintaining that old Irish cottage charm. We enjoyed being able to sprawl out to the many living spaces to read, relax, watch movies - whether alone or together. The kitchen and dining area were also very nice for the family to prepare and cook meals, and eat together. The garden was absolutely fabulous and we spent some time out there in the morning with our coffee or in the evening as the sun started to go down. The property manager Julie was especially helpful in making suggestions and giving directions. We were thankful for the opportunity to enjoy some trad Irish music with the locals in town! The ONLY suggestion I was able to get from the family was that it would be nice to have additional oscillating fans throughout the house, especially at night time and during thunderstorms! Hoping to return!

A wonderful home for our stay

My family of seven (including an infant and toddler) thoroughly enjoyed staying at Ballyquirke House. The home was very comfortable and clean, well stocked with everything we needed and we had lots and lots of room to spread out during our down time. Outdoor yards and gardens were gorgeous and soothing. Many thanks to Julie for her support, warm welcome and for giving us so much local information.

Couldn’t be happier

The location is perfect for all Ireland destinations, the property is better than I could’ve imagined the pictures and description don’t do it justice the manager was kind and helpful , I saw one comment about someone hitting their head on a door , there are a couple low doorways but they have signs and easy to adjust to

A little slice of heaven

Location was wonderful. Walking distance to village with nice pubs to eat in. Very nice to arrive to coffee, milk, juice and snacks. Very helpful when traveling. Home was very clean and comfortable. We find that directions by pin location are a bit challenging. Addresses or more detailed driving instructions would help us.

Top!!!

Warm welcome by the property manager who were always available if there was anything. Super nice cottage, with enough space two living rooms and beautiful large kitchen, large garden. The place itself, Moycullen, surprisingly also had many facilities. Nice restaurants and pubs, supermarket still open until 22:00. All within walking distance.

Absolute Gem!

We spent a magical week at Ballyquirke House with our three children (ages 7, 8, and 10). The house more than accommodated our needs. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable, the kitchen had every gadget we could have ever wanted, the spacious living spaces allowed us to spread out and relax, and the grounds of the property were gorgeous. The property manager was extremely responsive and very kind, she made our stay so welcoming. Moycullen is the perfect jumping off point for day trips (a car is essential for this area), and we made it to the Cliffs of Moher, Clifden and Sky Road, Galway City, and more. The area is fantastic for children with Wildlands (an indoor/outdoor adventure course with zip lines) less than 5 minutes away. The town center is walking distance from the house and has restaurants, pharmacies and plenty of grocery options. We could not recommend Ballyquirke House more! It was the perfect vacation.

Ballyquirke Beauty and Bliss

We had the most beautiful holiday at Ballyquirke house. The house itself is exquisite where it is evident love and care was placed with each selection of art work, of furniture, of fixture . The home was spacious, comfortable and very accommodating. The surroundings were serene and peaceful, we all left feeling soul nourished. We are so grateful to the home owner for sharing his home with us. The house manager Julie and her family were very available and helpful and supportive during our stay. They too were infused with love and hospitality. We will treasure this trip for years to come...

A haven of peace and quiet.

We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet we experienced at Ballyquirke House. The house has a spacious interior and exterior. The rooms were large and comfortable. The kitchen is large and well equipped with plenty of dining space. The lounges are very comfortable. Ballyquirke House feels like a welcoming home. It is only fifteen minutes drive to Spidal and the Wild Atlantic Way. Galway is a ten minute drive and Oughterard, Lough Corrib and the start of Conamara are only fifteen minutes west. There was nothing that we did not like.

Fabuleux

Stay was great. We'll come back here

Beautiful location with beautiful outdoor terrace and beautiful garden. The kitchen and entire ground floor were also beautiful and fully equipped The beds in 3 of the 4 bedrooms are too narrow and the sometimes lowered passages upstairs require constant attention
