About the host
Hosted by Host
Morley’s sits within the 7 acres of Daisy Hill Farm House. Originally an out-building to the farmhouse built in 2005; the building was converted to a self-contained holiday let by the previous owners in 2018.
On arrival, it was discovered that the original out-building had in fact been built by local Cornishman Morley Burley, whose grandson is now our son-in-law. Upon hearing the family connection, it was unanimously decided to rename the holiday let in Morley Burley’s honour. The Burley family have continued to assist with the improvements we have made.
Ian and Sarah moved from Hertfordshire during the Covid-19 pandemic, to realise their lifelong dream of living in Cornwall. They have two adult children with whom they spent many family holidays with in the South West over the years. Ian has recently retired and is looking forward to spending time looking after the property and the beautiful grounds of Daisy Hill Farm. He can often be found tinkering in his workshop or whizzing around on his lawnmower. Sarah spent 20 years working in the hospitality and events industry before embarking on a career change in 2006 and now works for a Property Management company.
