This beautifully presented contemporary barn conversion is tucked away within the Golden Triangle and the rural delights of Kempley. Oozing with simplicity and style, modern amenities and eco-friendly underfloor heating with the added luxury of a large 5 person private hot tub whirlpool. Whether you intend enjoying a peaceful holiday with friends, planning a romantic break for two or simply taking a well-earned break from the hustle and bustle of life this retreat is an excellent choice for an all-round memorable stay.

From the outdoor paved area where you will be able to sit and relax, you enter the cottage through a large patio door to be greeted by a modern and spacious open plan living area and kitchen. The light and airy feel of this room and its stunning views to the Rose Garden and across the open farmland makes a peaceful set-up to immerse yourself in and return to throughout your stay.​

As you walk past the kitchen area through the door towards the 2 bedrooms you pass the bathroom with shower and WC. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and ample wardrobe and drawer space. The smaller bedroom has a single bed and bedside cabinet with hanging space for clothes. There is the opportunity to make this into a double bed which would be suitable for children. There have been 2 adults in this room it is tight.

Private off-road parking for two cars, no smoking and (sorry) no pets.

There is an adjoining cottage called Honeysuckle Cottage that is a single bedroom property with its own hot tub that can be booked at the same time (availability permitting) for larger parties please search VRBO number 10833428 for details.

Bikers are welcome with undercover storage for motorbikes and bicycles available. Daffodil Cottage is situated just across the yard from the owner’s home.

Charming cottage and hot tub with spectacular view

Very warm and welcoming hosts. Beautiful location, comfy bed and fabulous hot tub with stunning views. Close to local walks, bike trails and lovely pubs. Would definitely recommend!

A quite, relaxing and bubbly stay!

A lovely stay in daffodil cottage. Everything was comfortable and clean. Great location, especially if you like walking as the daffodil way is right on the doorstep. The hot tub was a perfect way to end each day with a glass of bubbly which we really enjoyed. The garden and views were great. Annette and Steve were such lovely hosts, very approachable but also left you to enjoy your time at the cottage. I would definitely recommend them to our friends and family.

Wonderful visit

Just had a lovely stay in Daffodil cottage. The location is idyllic, the cottage was gorgouse had everything you could possible need. Steve and Annette were so nice and very helpful. Steve's suggestion of visiting Symonds Yat was inspired, we had a lovely day there. Would recommend to anyone and we plan to visit again in the future.

Beautiful place with the great view

We stayed there for 3 nights,loved everything.The owner were very nice and friendly.They helped us with everything.hot tub was the highlight. If you are looking for a shirt gateway it’s really worth it. It’s very near from London too.

Great Weekend

A wonderful weekend in this comfortable cottage. The hosts were very friendly and very accommodating especially when our toddler grandson came to visit. Beautiful views and the hot tub was a bonus.

Perfect relaxing getaway

We had the best stay in daffodil cottage, the cottage itself has everything you need, the hot tub was amazing and very private despite being within the owners property, the views were stunning! Steve and Annette were so lovely and welcoming. They gave us lots of recommendations of places to eat and things to do, one of the best stays we’ve ever had in the Uk, highly reccomend! And we will be back! 🙂

Great accomodation

Fabulous accomodation and the hosts were awesome. We were on a mountain biking holiday and Daffodil Cottage was in the ideal location for us to reach the various bike parks we visited. The hot tub at the end of the days ride was just what was needed. Thanks to Steve and Nettie, hopefully see you again soon

Perfect getaway!

A gem of a rural retreat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Daffodil Cottage with its pristine facilities, including the fantastic hot tub, and secluded rural location. Steve and Annette, our hosts, made us feel welcome and special, yet were always observant of their guests' privacy. The location is great for access to all the beautiful areas of this part of the country, being roughly equidistant from the Wye Valley/Forest of Dean, The Malverns, and the great cities of Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester, so we could have great days out in any direction. Thoroughly recommended for a relaxing short or long break from the rat race of today's world.

Excellent Property

Excellent property, well renovated and the owners were lovely and very helpful and amenable. The description and pictures are all true and we were extremely pleased with the property. It was very clean and had everything we needed and the hot tub was superb. I would like to suggest a full length mirror somewhere in the property for us ladies who like to look at ourselves while we're getting ready! but apart from this it is a perfect property and we had a superb time.

Lovely stay in attractive rural setting.

We greatly enjoyed our 3 day stay in a very well cared for and comfortable holiday home - Daffodil Cottage. Steve and Annette made us feel welcome and there were some nice personal.touches such as homemade chutney and cake! Also enjoyed a few soaks in the hot tub with a lovely rural outlook. The views are stunning! Very quiet area and the hosts were lovely and accommodating. The location is just rural enough to feel secluded but close enough to shops and pubs for convenience. Will definitely stay again.
