This completely renovated, March 2017, Ranch features a beautiful view at the head of Narraguagus Bay. Relax on two huge decks and watch lobster boats come and go, enjoy breathtaking sunrises as you start your day and unwind with a peaceful sunset after exploring local attractions.

You are just steps to the water's edge, the Town Marina and Boat Launch. Kayaking, sea tours, fishing, and other water activities are a stones throw away. Or it's a short drive to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Petit Manan Lighthouse and the Coastal National Wildlife Refuge. You are also within walking distance to Milbridge Town Center, offering local cuisine, gift shops and shopping.

This home features a very open floor plan with wood floors throughout and all the comforts of home. Its coastal furnishings and decor accentuate "the way life should be". Wonderful home top notch host

The home is beautful with amazing views! Everything you need and much more is provided, including flowers inside and outside, a bottle of wine, a outdoor firepit set up with wood and kindling. The kitchen is well stocked best I have ever seen. The place is super clean with lots of room for family of 4. Ron property manager is absolutely amazing and very responsive, had an issue with diswasher and hot water both we addressed and fixed very quickly. A great home with very hospitable host!

This is a beautiful property with a lot of space. It has a great view of the bay and we enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed--even a lobster pot for the lobsters we bought on the wharf. It's a quiet area with many nice hikes, but not a lot else to do. We enjoyed the Schoodic district of Acadia National Park (more than Mt desert Isle).

This property has everything! It’s not a rental, it’s a home. Clean as a whistle! Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of gadgets, utensils, all kinds of glassware and all the goodies for lobster dinner! We felt so at home. The view of the water is so relaxing. The owner is so generous with all the extras provided (forget a toothbrush? Deodorant? You’re covered!). Talk about a low stress weekend. We will be back.

Comfortable and Peaceful Place to Stay

Our family of 5 loved staying in Ernest's beautiful home overlooking a bay. It was well stocked with all we needed and more for cooking meals. The layout was great and the beds were comfortable. It was a peaceful place to stay, close to Schoodic, and an easy hour to Bar Harbor.

Fabulous host!

My family of 5 stayed in this beautiful home. The decor is impecable! The kitchen was fully stocked. The bathrooms had extra supplies, plenty of towels. The homeowner pays attention to detail. The LP tank became emptied as we were using the grill. The host had one brought over in short period of time. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

Relaxing at its finest

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️All the amenities you can think of! Tastefully decorated and very clean. Wonderful view of the bay and interesting to see the lobstermen working. Being from Texas this was the perfect getaway from our blistering heat. It was so nice to walk out on the decks to enjoy coffee in the morning and drinks in the afternoon. Ron, the property manager, was a wealth of local information about the important things in life such as where to get blueberry pies and tasty lobster! It was nice to visit with a host who is a super friendly, down to earth, likeable person! The only downside was the angry bee that stung me as I walked by the bush near the front steps. That aside, we enjoyed every moment of our stay. We are already thinking about a visit next year.

Delightful place to stay!

This home was pristine, but not in a fussy way. The decor was perfect for an oceanside home. We were greeted with flowers on both the patio and in the kitchen when we arrived. The fridge had some bottled waters and a bottle of chilled white wine waiting. What a sweet and welcoming surprise!! Anything you could possible need was present. The homeowner has literally thought of everything!! The view of the pier is gorgeous and restful! Speaking of restful, the beds are super comfortable. We all feel so replenished after our stay here. Our only regret is that we werent able to stay longer. With Bar Harbor and Acadia just an hour away, we were able to see and experience so much and then retreat back to our oasis at the end of the day. When you stay here, make sure to visit the English potter just up the road. Truly beautiful work! The communication with the homeowner was prompt and insightful. We could tell from our first interation that their main concern was our comfort and a desire that we enjoy both their property and home state!

Beautiful house with a view!

My family and I felt at home in this beautiful house. It's very homey and comfortable. I enjoyed my coffee every morning watching the boats going out. Everything you need is there and more! There is a great boating charter, Robertson Sea Charter, that you depart from right across the street from the house. The location is great. It's very quiet at night for enjoying a fire around the fire pit. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home.

Love Milbridge!

Love this small town and watching the tides from the living room and back porch. Pigeon Hill Preserve is a great hike that is minutes away. Robertson Sea Tours and Captain Robertson was a great experience and our fresh caught lobster was fun to cook.

All you could ask for…

We arrived to find fiddle music floating over the water from the public boat launch across the road…. The windows let in the cool evening airs; there were fresh bouquets on the dining tables both inside and out. The home is pristinely clean, decorated with a coastal theme. The kitchen is well supplied and the views from kitchen, living room, decks and master bedroom are of water and fishing boats coming and going throughout the day. Gulls and herons soar and an eagle perched in the top of a pine in the backyard. Easy drives to the Schoodic peninsula south and sightseeing from Machias all the way up to Lubec up north. Good communication with the owner and everything in place that we needed. Good wifi too….it was a wonderful place to enjoy our first trip to Maine.

Wonderful!

This house was just wonderful - the photos don't do it justice! It's very spacious, and the decor was so tastefully themed. It was also immaculate and truly had everything we needed. The location is ideal for exploring this part of Maine - about 30 minutes to the Schoodic part of Acadia and an hour to Bar Harbor and the island part, but there are also lots of things to do and see that are closer (like a puffin tour!) We just loved it!!!
