Refurbished to an exceptionally high standard, the cottage could not be better situated (being less than 100 yards from the banks of the River Windrush) to make the most of this quintessential English village. Arranged over three floors, the history and character of this cottage greet you at every turn; cosy lounge with log-burner, open plan kitchen / diner, master bedroom with king size bed, as well as two further bedrooms (a double and a single) making this the perfect retreat for families or groups of five. But be warned - properties of this age have their own character, and Tuesday Cottage does have low beams and ceilings - especially on the second floor. Tuesday Cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind and explore this stunning part of The Cotswolds.

Charming cottage in excellent location!
We loved this cozy cottage in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, a perfect base to explore the Cotswolds. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen had all the amenities you could want. Two of the bedrooms are up narrow stairs as transparent in description so no surprises, absolutely as advertised and enjoyed thoroughly!

Lovely Cottage
Quintessential Cotswold cottage. Cute and comfy in every way. Conveniently located just a very short walk off the main shopping area and the lovely Windrush river. This town loves its dogs and fun to see all the dogs enjoying the river. While we were there it seemed a bit chilly for August, there were plenty of extra bedding/throws. Easy check-in and out. Cottage very clean and well stocked. You’ll find everything you need, even milk in refrigerator and cookies on the counter. Sweet hosts. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Stay! Just FANTASTIC IN EVERY WAY!
Wish I did not have to give this wonderful review... because we don't want others to know how wonderful Tuesday cottage is! Clean, wonderfully stocked, a great location and the "Secret Garden," was just splendid! Visitors should read the description carefully... rooms on the third floor are accessible -- but steep stairs (as the description offers) -- but this is all part of the charm of a wonderful English Cottage! Thank you for a splendid stay! Will return to this great property!

Perfect cottage and location!
The two best things about the Tuesday cottage are its location and the way the owners have outfitted it. Every accoutrement and creature comfort you could thing of is thoughtfully supplied. It would be very easy to cook and serve all meals in this lovely cottage. Also, the location could not have been better! Outside our door is the waterway to the village of Bourton, with all the cute shops. There is no need for a car when you stay in this cottage. We were able to easily access the footpath to the slaughters as well in just a short walk. You are also walking distance to Hawkstone Brewery. Clean, abundant, comfortable. It really is the perfect cottage! My only quick commentary for improvement is that the property management company didn’t clarify that there are two entries to the cottage, and two lockboxes, so we thought we were unable to access the cottage because we were at the wrong door. It would be great if they would specify to go to the side of the cottage. Also, the large bedroom could do with a more supportive mattress. Other than that, this is a place we will come back to.

A Deightful Cotswold cottage
Our family stayed at Tuesday Cottage for five nights as we explored the beautiful village and surroundings. It was a perfect base from which to take day hikes (the Slaughters, the Rissingtons and Clapton-on-the-hill), tour the attractions in town (Birdland and the model village), enjoy the local restaurants (including the Cotswold ice cream vendor right next door) and enjoy people and dog watching along the water. The property was well provisioned and offered a perfect mix of modern amenities and historical charm. The back garden was lovely and offered a nice private space to enjoy the days.
