Cromer itself boasts an abundance of boutique and artisan cafés, bars, restaurants and shops and you could park up at Seahorse Cottage and eat somewhere different on foot every night and never be disappointed, whatever your tastes or however deep your pockets. A big hit with locals and visitors alike, this town has a cinema, zoo, amusements, museum, mainline railway link and of course its famous pier where you can enjoy a coffee or lunch or maybe even take in one of the seasonal end-of-pier shows, the last of their kind in the country. Venture a little further however and discover a string of delightful seaside towns and villages boasting sand and shingle beaches, salt and clay marshes, rolling sand dunes and picturesque quays.
Wildlife enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice with RSPB Cley Marshes, Sheringham Park, Holt Country Park and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve all within easy reach.
