We really enjoyed our week at The Flints. Perfect location for the town and the sea, with off road parking, and it met all our needs. And it was so quiet! Thank you - we hope to return!

As good as ever
This was our fifth stay in The Flints and it says it all that we keep returning. The location is superb and the parking is a bonus. We have mentioned on previous reviews that the property would greatly benefit from a walk in shower as the bath is very deep and not suitable for older people.

Great stay at The Flints
Having stayed at The Flints on several occasions I was again looking forward to a relaxing stay and was not disappointed. The location, private parking and spacious accommodation is ideal - so much so I’ve booked again for July & September !

Our third stay
This our third stay at The Flints. The location is brilliant and the parking a bonus. The property could do with wi fi and would benefit from a walk in shower as the bath is deep and unsuitable for elderly people.

The Flints
This was our sixth visit to The Flints in three years so we must like it there. One or two areas for improvement though. The bath is rather deep , especially for older people, so a walk in shower would be of great benefit. Also the easy chairs in the lounge are uncomfortable and need replacing. Lastly the premises would benefit from wifi. Despite these comments we are looking forward to returning next year.
This little property is perfect for a couple to holiday in Sheringham. Seconds from the sea and very close to the centre of town. There is parking directly outside the property, which is rare this close to the beach. The property was very clean and had everything to make our visit comfortable.

Fourth visit
This was our fourth visit to The Flints in two years. It is in an ideal location with off road parking being an added bonus. However,as mentioned before the property would be greatly improved with a walk in shower (the bath is too deep for elderly people like ourselves) and wifi would also be good. We have already booked for next year.

Perfect location
We have stayed at The Flints previously. I had mentioned it needed a hair dryer and one is now provided. It's great to have our own parking space. Very quiet road. So convenient for the shops and hostelries. Perfect for a walk by the sea after tea. The house is comfortable, clean and well equipped.
This is a lovely little cottage, very close to the sea.
The only problem for me is that it does not have a shower and getting down into a bath is more difficult as I get older.
Really needs wifi too.

This is a lovely little bungalow just a few steps to the sea front or the end of Sheringham's main street.
It is a very quiet location with a lovely garden and patio.
There is no wi-fi but this is free in a café a few steps away.
A shower would have been great rather than just a bath.
Overall we loved it!

The Flints Sheringham
First time we have stayed here nice place great location with parking we thought the property was a bit dusty and could do with a bit of updating especially in the bathroom which only has a very deep bath and no shower we knew this before we booked would not suit anybody with mobility problems. You have to take your own bedding and towels which we did but there was no tea towels or oven gloves in the kitchen or a bath mat in the bathroom. These are minor points and would definitely book again.

we loved the flints.our second visit. but aswe mentioned last year it dos need a proper shower, mixer taps being old hat and also for people of an age it could be quite dangerous trying to get in the bath. in the lounge the chairs could be more comfortable.

Perfect location
The Flints was perfect for being in Sheringham. 3 minutes from the High Street with the shops and The Little Theatre. 1 minutes walk from the sea front. 7 minutes walk to the train and bus stations. The cottage was well equipped. Only downside was no hairdryer. Travelling on the train meant we hadn't taken one.

The Flints 2024
The Flints holiday home is a lovely bungalow in the garden of owners property and is perfectly located for the beach and amenities of Sheringham with its own parking which is why we booked it .
The garden setting is lovely and we enjoyed it as if being at home
The property itself was clean and tidy ,kitchen had everything we needed except a washing machine which we knew about before we arrived and there is a laundrette nearby ,however we could have done with an iron /ironing board as being there for two weeks and using laundrette there then was nothing to iron the clean clothes with .
The property decor while being light and all white seemed a little austere and on entering the living room my husband described it as like “Gods waiting room with way too many books “
Bedroom had plenty of storage and the bed was comfortable but it’s the first time we have stayed anywhere where we have had to take our own bedding /towels having said that based on previous experience at least we knew they were clean
Bathroom was adequate but the bath could be a struggle to get out of as is quite deep
On the whole we enjoyed our stay and spent our days out and about using the local buses as the service is fantastic .Highly recommend The Whelk Coppers cafe two minutes from the property and the coastal walks were brilliant .
A lovely little cottage right down at the promenade and end of Sheringham high street.
My only negatives are that it only has a bath, not a shower and no WiFi.

.
dissapointed with the noise of builders next door knocking walls about. Windows needed good clean. seating not relaxing
Fabulous location two minutes from beautiful beach. House very clean on arrival and well equipped for two. We sat in the garden in the evenings and had it to ourselves as owners were not there. Lots of storage space in the bedroom. Parking right outside. Sheringham is a delightful town.

I would return if-
Our stay was very enjoyable but I feel that the bathroom needed rethinking.
I have mobility problems and , not to put too finer point on it, the toilet pan would be better if a grab rail was provided.
In my mind the bath would be better replaced with an enclosed shower tray and a thermostatic shower valve .
In my opinion this would not need to cost a fortune.
It is such a pity that I need to draw attention to this as the Flints could be more desirable for us seniors and any costs could be easily covered with a moderate increase in the rent.
Without prejudice,
John

Lovely location, but expensive for the size and not too keen on the new decor
We have stayed at the Flints for a number of years and have always loved it for it's location and it works for our needs. however this year they had redone various elements of the property such as the floors and new curtains and lampshades etc. The new floor was fine but it is a shame to not have carpet in the living room anymore as it makes the room feel much less comfortable. I would also say the decor is now slightly at odds with each other and doesn't seem to have been entirely thought through. It would also be much nicer to have one comfortable sofa instead of 2 armchairs but I realise these things are personal preference. It is a very well placed property and the garden is lovely but for the size it seems very expensive and
