A great little cottage and garden in a quiet location.
A great little cottage and garden in a quiet location. We stayed with our 6yr old son. The stairs are a little steep but we're no issue for him. The location was great, 20 min drive to Oxford p&p, 50 mins to legoland. There are other attraction within 20-30 min drive (National Trust, animal parks etc.).

Beautiful cottage! Love to return.Thank you so much.
Very comfortable and with everything one might need. The owners are delightful and couldn't be more helpful with suggestions of things to do and travel logistics which we had left to the last minute. Book this little cottage...you will not be disappointed! Thank you Bridget and Kieran, we had a wonderful time and felt so relaxed and looked after.

We had a wonderful stay at The Cottage - what a beautiful place! The cottage itself was picture-perfect, really nicely done out inside, clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. The village was very picturesque and quiet. It was a shame that the village pub was closed during our stay, but Bridget provided a list of nearby alternatives for food and drink and a very helpful map of a short country walk to The Six Bells, which we took advantage of. The welcome pack and gorgeous homemade cake were very much appreciated and Bridget couldn't have been more helpful in arranging for an item I had left in the cottage to be posted back to me. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing break and we will be back!
The cottage is gorgeous. Beautifully decorated and clean. It was nice and toasty inside when we arrived, which we really appreciated. There was also a delicious homemade cake waiting for us on our arrival, which was a lovely touch. We loved the log burner, and everything we needed to get it started was provided. The bed is super comfortable, it felt like sleeping on a cloud. Our yorkie had a great time running around and exploring the garden. Although it’s fully enclosed, there are a couple of sparser areas in the hedge and a gap under the gate that small dogs could escape through. We were conscious of that and just kept an eye on our dog. The area itself is very quiet and peaceful, a perfect location to unwind. We’ve also seen some lovely pubs in the surrounding area, which we didn’t get a chance to try. We definitely hope to come back soon!
Excellent location. Very peaceful. Beautiful cottage. All needs met. Lovely welcome pack. Highly recommend. Perfect for unwinding. Hope to return very soon.
