Built around the original watchtower, it sleeps six guests. The ground floor features a well-equipped living room, dining room, and kitchen, and the private outdoor seating area is just a few steps away in the garden. At the top of the stairs leading up from the living room is a lovely bedroom decorated in a soothing yellow, complete with an in-room fireplace. Opposite the bedroom is a bathroom used by guests staying in the twin and double bedrooms just down the hall. At the end of the hall and down a few steps is the master bedroom with a wooden floor, antique furniture, and a large wrought-iron double bed. This room has an en suite bathroom.

We loved our stay - the apartment was absolutely charming - exactly what you picture a villa in Umbria to be. Very well maintained and preserved, with history but modern conveniences as well. The pool was a great respite from the summer heat. The location was a bit remote but actually a perfect home base for exploring the hilltowns in the area. We got some great recommendations for dinner and explored Montone which is a charming hill town just 10 minutes away. Also visited Gubbio and Cortona which we loved - about half an hour drive. We loved it and highly recommend this stay. Thanks for everything!
