The host were very accommodating. The cottage was clean and included everything we needed. The property was great for my young kids who loved playing on the tire swing and exploring the trails and creeks nearby. We were close enough to downtown Asheville and all the activities you would want to do while visiting. I would highly recommend.
We had such a great time staying here with our family. The kids loved their private loft area! The location made it so easy to go and do all the things we wanted. Would definitely stay here again.
What a beautiful, enchanting place to stay! The cottage is well-appointed with so many little extras. We enjoyed our stay very much! The hosts are generous with sharing their gorgeous property; allowing us to tap into our inner-kid and explore to our hearts' content. If we come to Asheville again, we will stay here again.
This cabin is so great and very cozy. The owners were great to deal with and went above and beyond to have coffee and cream ready for my arrival. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back again!!!
Very unique property that we enjoyed. Extremely quiet and very pretty location. We had access to back property and walking trails. Will look to stay here again if it works out.
This place was such a cozy cottage. My husband and I were visiting for work. Wi-Fi was good, the bed was comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and the beauty of the property. Thank you for having us.
Get away with my teens to serve those affected by a hurricane Helene
The cottage is adorable, bed super comfy. Owners are so kind, they even invited us to join them for their Thanksgiving meal! Property is open to explore, they have a cool tree house built by the owner and a walking trail. Only a couple minutes from town.
The cottage was perfect for us. Very cute and comfy and the property was beyond our expectations. Loved the tree houses and all the beautiful gardens. Our hosts, Chris and Jana, were great.....very friendly and interesting and provided just the right amount of privacy for us. Thank you for sharing your very special home with us.
I'm going to be honest, out of the number of places I booked on 16-day tour through the southeast, this was the one I was the most nervous about. I was worried for nothing! The space is cozy, private, and clean. The grounds are lovely and the location is convenient to all the wonderful things Asheville has to offer. Great stay!
We came to Asheville for a wedding and wanted something different than the typical overpriced hotel room to stay. This was perfect. Our flight up from Florida was unfortunately on the day that airlines were grounded due to the huge software glitch, and we didn't arrive until 1 AM Saturday morning. The hosts were awesome with their communication and response time throughout our booking, and followed up after our stay. The driveway up to the unit is a little tricky, and we blundered onto the neighbor's property which was dicey at 1 in the morning, but got back on track quickly. The unit was perfect for the 3 of us. Our adult daughter used the loft and loved its ambiance. The main bed was very comfortable, we didn't use the kitchen other than for coffee, but it had everything, and the grounds were spectacular. Our trip was short as we had a 5:45 AM flight on Sunday morning, so we didn't get to enjoy the full experience. What we did see was perfect for out little getaway though.
Beautiful, cozy cottage just minutes from everything Asheville has to offer. Jana was so helpful to make sure I was settled and had everything I needed. I hope to return in the very near future!
We really enjoyed our 5 night stay in the cottage. It was so convenient to be minutes from downtown, but so peacefully secluded in the woods. Chris was so kind to show us around the property including the treehouse compound when we arrived. The family had a barbecue event and were gracious enough to invite us to take part. My daughter spent every day playing and exploring the grounds. Meanwhile, the wifi was generally strong enough for me to have some work video conferences. All the pictures were accurate. The kitchen was great to cook several meals. The loft is perfect for children to have a special place for themselves, although a little dusty.
We stayed for 2 nights as we were coming through town with a U-Haul trailer. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. The cottage was absolutely adorable, and the tree house and rest of the property were amazing. The weather was too hot for the fire pit, but it would be absolutely wonderful in fall or winter. It was just a mile outside of Asheville and three miles to downtown while still feeling like a hideaway. Have already recommended the property to family and would definitely stay again!
This property was on a beautiful grounds with gardens, a fun tire swing and unbelievable tree house. The property was clean and perfect for our family of four. Our girls (ages 9 and 11) were prefect ages for the loft. It was fun walking around the grounds. There were even goats! We saw a mama bear and three cubs right down the street! It was a great location, only about 5-7 minutes from the main area of Asheville, yet it seemed like you were in a more secluded area out in the country. The owners were very kind and helpful as well. Thank you!
My daughter and I had an amazing time. The cottage was beautiful and everything was as described and better. The hosts were very nice and hospitable. The property is beyond beautiful, quiet, and very relaxing. A dream. I highly recommend staying here.
This is the best place I've ever stayed in Asheville. You feel like you are away from it all but in reality only a few short miles to civilization and downtown Asheville or the Grove Park Inn. The grounds are beautiful as is the main house. We are so appreciative of our host for helping our friends get settled in the cottage behind us after the horrifying experience they had at another B and B. And speaking of cottages - the best words to describe our cottage are charming, cozy and heartwarming. The bed was especially comfortable and welcoming. The descriptions and pictures on VRBO are very accurate. We will definitely try to book this place again next time we are in the Asheville area. Thanks for the hospitality.
Super easy to find, check in and was just as advertised. Quiet, quaint place close to downtown but felt like you were in the woods with no one close by. Perfect if you want a place to relax after exploring Asheville and the surrounding area...
