Regarding the odor, it was likely an unfortunate side effect of the record-breaking heavy rains and southern winds we experienced this winter, which can occasionally affect the local drainage systems. As for the ants, we took your comment very seriously and conducted a thorough inspection; however, we found no activity, and no guests before or after your stay reported similar issues. We appreciate your input as it helps us maintain our high standards.

We loved staying here! It’s in a great location with a lot to see and do nearby. The apartment was cute with a lot of living and hang out spaces. We had 4 kids (5 & under). They loved the spiral staircases, but us parents were a little weary of them— just had to keep an extra eye out. We had to purchase our own hand soap and paper towels as there was none in the unit already. Not a big deal- just something to keep in mind. Our hosts were so communicative and even helped us book our ride from the airport to the rental. It was a great stay!

Beautiful unit! It has three bedrooms two full bathrooms and I believe a few extra pull out sofas. The AC in the rooms worked excellent. The unit is charming, the spiral staircases are beautiful. The person who assisted us with check in was friendly and easy to communicate with. Overall it was an excellent stay thank you!

This is a very unique space and has excellent A/C. It was highly welcome on the hot summer days. The unit is spacious and has two washers and multiple rooms so people ca. Have their space. It is on the 4th floor so you need to be okay with steps.

This flat was in a perfect location. Easily walkable to the Colosseum & Trevi Fountain. It was very spacious, clean, & had great beds & AC. Marta was so sweet & helpful & answered all our questions we had during our stay. Awesome restaurant just outside the flat for nights you don’t feel like going far.

Perfect location with a lot of space

We loved this location. Two adults and two teens. Walking distance to Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and Colesseum. Many authentic restaurants nearby, and lots of shopping on the main street a couple blocks away. Easy check in process. Host was very communicative and arranged airport taxis for us. Five star stay.

Clean property in excellent location within walking to distance to sites and local restaurants. Mattress was uncomfortable (could feel coils underneath), Wi-Fi a must-have when communicating with property manager via WhatsApp to let you in during check-in. Otherwise staff was very responsive.

Very nice, clean and conveniently located. 10 min walk to colosseum or trevi fountain. Its on 4th floor so be ready for 90 steps. Great exercise. Bathroom had some sewer smell. Overall very happy

Great contact pre-arrival and follow up during our stay. Fast and efficient arrival. Clean appartment. Bedroom on mezzanine had no curtains on the roof window (only a small sheer which does not filter the light in the morning). The wooden floor makes significant noise and the stairwell is wobbly. Bathroom is well equiped but drainage needs improvement to avoid sewage smell. This could be a great appartment.

The apartment itself was very nice, granted you do need to be very much in shape to get up and down those stairs, I think I counted 91. The hike up was expected though based on the listing. Upon arrival we were told that there was only one key to the apartment and there was no way for us to get a second one as it had previously been lost, but no one cared to replace it.That was a huge bummer because we had a group of five people that planned on doing different things and returning to the apartment at different times. Coordinating who would have the key and when they needed to be back was a hassle and did cause a stressful start to our trip. We also quickly ran out of toilet paper and were not supplied any extra when asked. There was a broken coffee machine and no dish or paper towels for the kitchen. Like I said, the apartment was nice, the area was great, but the accommodations were lacking. For an apartment that is built to host a large group of people there should really be an extra set of keys or a lock box outside.

Regarding the key situation, we completely understand how inconvenient it was. Unfortunately, the previous guest lost the second key, and a guest before that had also lost a copy, making it impossible for us to issue another replacement during your stay. We are currently provding 2 sets of keys to all our guests. As for the stairs, we’re glad the apartment itself met your expectations, and the number of floors is clearly mentioned in the listing so guests are aware before booking. For supplies, we provide a starter pack of essentials such as toilet paper, which is standard for holiday rentals. The coffee machine is perfectly working. We will ensure kitchen basics like dish towels are properly stocked. Thank you again for your helpful comments — they allow us to continue improving the experience for future guests.

Apartment was perfect location

I arrived expecting to walk four flights, but Italians consider the first floor as zero, then 1, 2, 3, 4. So this apartment was on the fifth level. We each had a bag and backpack. 2 adults, 2 kids under 12 and it was a lot. Mattress was stiff. Very trafition Roman apartment so not many complaints. Advice! Bring your own soaps and shampoo. They leave you enough for one day but there is mini market three doors down, no problem. Washing machine was awesome!! Drying rack holds a full load. Kids loved it and WiFi was perfect.

Superbe situation

Cet appartement est idéalement situé à 10 min à pieds du Colisée, 10min de la fontaine deTrévi et 15min de la place d’Espagne. Nous avons quasi tout fait à pieds la semaine. L’appartement est vraiment très bien équipé. Petit plus il y a une excellente auberge juste en bas de l’immeuble.

Great place and neighborhood

Everything worked great. Beds and linens were comfortable. Wifi and air conditioning were great. Low noise so we slept well. The hosts correctly pointed out the apartment is on the 3rd floor, so be prepared for stair climbing. We knew that going in so we were fine. Great stay overall.
