Building work

We should have been informed that the properties on either side were having construction work, particularly the adjoining house. From 8am and continuing all day the ground workers were grinding paving slabs in the rear of the property. They advised us to keep the back door closed due to the dust and it was impossible to sit out due too noise. The noise inside the house was constant also. We understand that this type of work has to happen but when it is so impactful on the accommodation you are renting this should be taken into account as their was no reduction in the price whilst this work is being carried outa d the property is not a cheap listing.
