Thank you for your feedback following your recent stay in our house. We obviously welcome any comments that help us to achieve the high standard we insist upon. We were obviously surprised and disappointed to read your comments as it is the first time we have not received an overall 5 star review. The house and cottage are thoroughly cleaned prior to guests arriving and then Mary cleans the property on a daily basis whilst they are in residence. With regards to the cottage I am surprised by your comment that it was dusty as it was not part of your rental agreement. We are sorry that you did not find the mattresses comfortable, obviously our choice of mattress has to cater for everyone who stays and ours were carefully chosen with this in mind and may not be perfect for all guests. As explained in my personal email to you, the house manager tried to contact you several times by phone and also two trips to the house but unfortunately no one was at home on each occasion. Regarding your comment about there being no hospitality team, this may be due to the Covid-19 situation and the Sugar Hill Resort Management reducing visible staff numbers for everyone's safety. May I take this opportunity to thank you for your reservation.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a wonderful review of your holiday. I am really pleased to hear you had a great stay and the property met with your expectations. It's great to continually hear very favourable comments from all of our guests regarding Mary and I will pass your comments back to her. Glad you also enjoyed seeing the monkeys. Your reservation and review is very much appreciated. Many thanks, Paul

Dear Marc, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful experience in Barbados and your stay at The Summer House. We are all very pleased to hear that you, your fiancé, and your friends enjoyed your first visit to Sugar Hill. It’s great to know that the villa’s decor, cleanliness, and spaciousness contributed to your comfort and that the artwork gave it a homey feeling. We are pleased you enjoyed the amenities, including the tennis courts, fitness centre, and the private plunge pool. Your kind words about our hospitality, from the owners, villa manager, housekeeper, and Sugar Hill staff are much appreciated. We would like to thank you for choosing The Summer House for your stay and we look forward to welcoming you back in the not too distant future. Warm regards!
