Palm Tree Villa was architect designed and rebuilt 12 years ago, it has undergone full refurbishment. The villa offers a perfect location for everything you want from your Barbados holiday.
Spacious living accommodation and outdoor private space provides a home from home feel that means your holiday starts as soon as you enter the property.
We have installed a pressurised water system and tank which allows you to enjoy a full shower even if the mains pressure is turned down on the island, during times of drought. The solar panels ensure hot water and the backup immersion heater supports them.

The villa is comfortably furnished in a relaxed, contemporary style. The main entrance door opens into the open-plan lounge/Kitchen with dining table to seat 8 and colonial rattan furniture. The separate TV lounge is equipped with a 50" smart TV, the whole house is supported with Wi-Fi. The lounge and TV room have hard wood floors. The lounge and kitchen has 2 air-conditioning units, 2 ceiling fans in the lounge and one in the TV lounge.
The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, American style fridge/freezer with cold water and ice dispenser. Place settings and glasses, including acrylic tumblers for use outside, for 8. A compact dishwasher and 17kg washing machine.
The ground floor features 3 bedrooms (1 ensuite) and a family shower room/wc. The unique 1st floor principal suite is reached by the hard wood stairs. A beautiful room with hard wood floor and vaulted 'pickled' ceiling creates a lovely spacious bedroom, with US King Size (UK Superking), bed. A large shower cubicle, w/c and marble, mirrored vanity area. The walk-in closet/dressing room has plenty of hanging and storage space and houses the personal safe for your valuables.
A spacious roof terrace, accessed from the principal suite was added in 2018, providing a private space for sunbathing and sundowners with a glimpse of the Caribbean.

Bedroom 2 has a lovely hardwood queen bed, (UK King) ensuite shower/wc, marble vanity unit with large mirror and built-in wardrobes.
Bedroom 3 with queen bed (UK King) and built-in wardrobes, shares the family shower room & wc with Bedroom 4 which has a queen bed (UK King), wardrobe with drawer space and mirror.
All Bedrooms have full air conditioning & ceiling fans. There is a hairdryer and good supply of hangers in every room.

Outside an undercover terrace with table and comfy seating provides a lovely shaded area. The well maintained gardens enjoy year round colour. The rear garden is spacious and private. There are 6 full size loungers for use beside the pool. A waterfall into the pool switches on automatically, a seat within the pool is a good place to cool down. The pool is maintained weekly during your stay.
There is an outside shower and additional w/c beside the pool. Alongside the terrace there is a separate bar with sink and fridge. A four burner GrillPro Gas barbecue (gas provided), is located in the outdoor kitchen.

Included in your stay is membership of The Beach House, a lovely beach club situated on the beach, overlooking the Caribbean. Just 4 minutes walk away The Beach House has a members only pool with loungers and direct access to the beach. Next door is Drift, a contemporary lounge bar looking straight out over the ocean, the perfect setting for a sundowner (or two)!

From there a 3 minute walk takes you along the beach to Surfside Beach Bar, famous for it's 5 screen TV showing of live sport, a lively spot, a Barbados beach bar at its best.

Sandy Crest Medical Centre is 300 metres away and provides 24hr service. (Turn left out of Villa, it is at the end of Flamboyant Avenue).

With its excellent location on the prestigious Platinum West Coast, we are sure you will enjoy your stay at Palm Tree Villa. The beaches are beautiful, the people friendly and the restaurants superb. Have a great holiday!

For your security Palm Tree Villa has external security cameras. These are located on the external villa walls and cover all aspects of the garden including the roof terrace and pool area. No cameras are operated inside the villa. Cameras record to an internal device which is only accessible by the owners and all recordings are overwritten on a 24 hour basis.

There were three couples and one single in our party. The home was well equipped for our stay and we were able to cook several meals both inside and outside. Shopping, restaurants and the beach were all a short walk making the area perfect for our needs. The host and their team were friendly, informative and quick to respond to any questions we had about the house or area in general. I could have written this review from the first evening of our arrival because the villa and location was perfect for us from the start to the end of our vacation. The pictures don’t give the villa justice. We found it to be clean, well curated and comfortable. There is a television there but no one in our party of eight adults turned it on. The pool was refreshing after a day at the beach. We didn’t get to use the bar area or barbecue grill because we were so busy eating out at nearby restaurants. Maybe next time, as we do intend to book this villa again. We were mindful to turn off the a/c units when going out for the day as we are aware of the high cost of service on the island. Special thank you to the housekeeper Deborah, she is good at what she does.

The very friendly and helpful owners, Jules and Michael, were always available and happy to chat throughout the booking process right up to the actual stay itself. You can certainly tell this is their own home from home. In every respect they have thought of just about everything, plus lots of little extras. Fans and air conditioning throughout (although the AC units are on cut-out timers which can be a bit of a pain). The whole place is clean and well-maintained inside and out. Jan the property manager was easy to contact and quick to respond to a couple of minor issues. The villa is spacious and sleeps up to eight, although we felt more than six might feel a little crowded, however to be fair the two of us had the whole place to ourselves, so that's very subjective The location is ideal, being under 15 minutes gentle stroll to any of the plentiful restaurants, beach bars, supermarket etc.Literally the one and only major issue for us is the traffic noise. Obviously this is not the owners' fault so does not in any way reflect on them, but the villa is sandwiched right between the main coastal highway and a back road that is used as a rat-run by locals avoiding the main road. Unfortunately we found the resulting noise very intrusive, and I guess this is the sacrifice one has to make to stay in this otherwise very relaxing, high quality, comfortable villa. With that one caveat we would heartily recommend Palm Tree Villa. We really loved it, and shall definitely return.

Perfect Holiday in Paradise

We had a wonderful stay at Palm Tree Villa - it really is a home away from home. Communication with the property owners and the property manager were very good. We had a smooth check in and enjoyed our stay very much. The location is brilliant - a large supermarket is a few minutes walk away, as well as some local restaurants and bars. Access to the beach club is a wonderful bonus. We would recommend Palm Tree Villa as a great place to stay in Barbados.

We are Michael & Jules, a professional English couple who enjoy travelling and love beach holidays that offer a blend of activity and relaxation. We are both foodies and love eating out, enjoying international cuisine and sampling the local specialities.
We started choosing villa stays over hotels several years ago, finding the freedom that it offered, better suited the way we wanted to spend our holiday time, enjoying the privacy of having our own living areas and pool.
That's why we chose Palm Tree Villa! We have visited Barbados many times and love the fun and friendliness of the people we meet on this beautiful island. The sun, the sand and the Caribbean Sea collide to make Barbados a perfect location to spend time with friends and family or enjoy quite time and romantic walks along its many soft sand beaches.
We live in the UK but will visit as often as we can. When we are not staying in Palm Tree Villa we will rent or swap it for similar properties around the world.

Why they chose this property

Location, Location, Location! We wanted a property that gave us access to all that Barbados had to offer and a place that first time visitors to the island could feel comfortable, knowing that everything they need is on hand without having to hire a car if they didn't want to.
Palm Tree Villa is a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants & bars and the beach club facilities, of The Beach House.
The villa is spacious and feels like a home from home, not a holiday rental and we have tried to make it comfortable as well as practical . It is spacious, allowing families to spread themselves and find their own space.

What makes this property unique

Palm Tree Villa was architect designed and rebuilt 10 years ago and stands out among its neighbours as the only 2 storey house on the street. The pool with waterfall and coral stone arch surround, has been beautifully designed and is a great place to relax at any time. The roof terrace, added in 2018 is a lovely additional space to enjoy.
Simply entering the house, though the gate leading straight into to the garden and onto the arched terrace feels like the entrance to the start of a great holiday
