We are regulars to west wales but hadn’t stayed near Neyland before. The Coach House was a great find and an ideal location to get around from. There was everything you could need there and more!
Dog walks around the cottage were great, shops and takeaways within walking distance, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back. Great welcome pack for us and the dog, really appreciated . Thank you Dympna and Bill

We are returning visitors to The Coach House, as ever the property was clean and we love the local goodies left for us, it’s a real home from home. The owners communication both before and during the stay was brilliant. The property is centrally located for exploring all the delights Pembrokeshire has to offer, so many hidden gems! Will we be returning?? We absolutely will

Splendid
We loved the attention to detail- doggy water bowl, welcome basket for the humans n doggy, lovely kitchen, extremely handy app and welcoming living room. It was really good to get the foodie recommendations- all spot on and made our stay even more enjoyable. Mutty loved sunbathing outdoors. Sean and mum loved chilling in the living room and it was a great spot to explore thr pembrokeshire coastal path. The finishing in the place was top notch and we are sure to return.

The Best Trips With The Coach House
I absolutely loved my stay at The Coach House — it truly felt like a home from home. The house was spotless throughout, and the attention to detail, especially in the kitchen, was fantastic. The self-catering setup was superb — everything you could possibly need was provided and thoughtfully arranged.
The little touches really made it special, from the cosy autumn and Halloween décor to the mini recommendations book filled with great local ideas. Everything is so conveniently located too — Tenby, Newgale, Broad Haven, and Freshwater are all around 20 minutes away, which made exploring the area so easy.
It’s also incredibly dog-friendly, which means so much to me. They even leave little surprises for the doggies, which is just the sweetest touch! The hosts were so kind, helpful, and welcoming — you can tell they really care about making guests feel comfortable.
I can’t wait to come back again — it’s one of those places you instantly feel relaxed in and don’t want to leave!
Thank You Dympna and Bill x

Late booking, superb accommodation
We book late for few days in majestic Pembrokeshire.
What a wonderful surprise to arrive at the coach house where we were warmly greeting and introduced to a magnificent 'cottage'. The coach house was fitted out to very high standard throughout with everything you might need for a home from home
We all enjoyed it so much, the grandkids didn't want to go home.
Thanks for a wonderful few days

Shame about the weather
Couldn't fault cleanliness of the property. Every possible utensil provided. It could do with another toilet, but it's clear there's only one in the booking information. Plenty of sights to see. All beaches require a short drive. Hosts we're super helpful at all times, with great advice on what to do whatever the weather.

Perfect in every way!
Words can’t express enough how wonderful the Coachhouse is and more importantly, Dympna and Bill who made sure that we were happy and had everything we could need throughout our visit.
The property is luxury with a home from home feel- there is literally nothing it doesn’t have.
The location is ideal for venturing the local area and Dympna even found local firework displays for us to visit to ensure we maximised our stay.
The local produce hamper was a lovely touch too!
I visited with my two teens and extended family and we all loved it!
Thank you

We booked the Coach House initially because of its location to the Marina as we have a small boat, its important that we are able to use the boat daily (weather permitting!) It couldn't have been better located just a 2 minute drive to the Marina and the bonus of having somewhere to leave our trailer in the gated garden area. The property had EVERYTHING you could possibly need, the attention to detail and cleanliness were outstanding. The dogs had a fab time too! First Class - thank you.

5 day break over Christmas
Everything about the coach house is exceptional. The welcome by Dympna and Bill was great and the coach house itself is remarkable in the care and detail to make it wonderfully comfortable. I could say so many things about how good it is but a real measure is how things are handled when things go wrong.
We arrived mid afternoon on Friday and when we got up on Saturday at 9am, we found that we had no central heating or hot water.
Bearing in mind that this was the day before Christmas Eve, we felt that we would have to return home. Dympna, howeever, had telephoned an engineer and he arrived at 10am. Peter, the engineer took two visits during the day to solve the problem and by 4.30 pm, everything was working perfectly- incredible, as I said, the day before Christmas Eve.
We had experienced a tough year and needed a "Christmas Cottage" to help us to relax and the Coach House with it's wonderful Christmas decorations was a triumph for us and a real triumph for Dympna and Bill

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us at Christmas and so humbled that you chose our cottage to help you have a relaxing time after a tough year. Of course, what we didn't expect (as we headed to Gloucestershire for our break) was a failed boiler 2 days before Christmas. We would like to thank you both for being so understanding. Arranging and managing repairs at that late stage from just under 200 miles away definitely wasn't in our plans for a relaxing Festive Season, for you or us but we got there in the end, thankfully aided by our fantastically diligent engineer. Fortunately we also had someone on hand locally, in our absence, who stepped in and purchased radiators for you to use while the boiler was being fixed.
Our goal has always been to provide high quality accommodation that enables our guests to relax, and return home recharged. We will always ensure that we do everything we can to correct things if they go wrong, and with minimal impact on our guests. We hope to see you both again in the future, Dympna & Bill

Another great stay at Coach House
Having stayed here before, we knew we were going to be relaxing within moments of being at the Coach House. Everything is catered for, restaurant recommendations, places to visit, a cottage with a luxurious feel and everything catered for. You can cook almost anything with the most extensively filled kitchen and recipe books! Towels and bedding all plentiful and all we could need.
Thank you for a fantastic stay and we will be returning.

About the host
Hosted by Dympna
I moved to Pembrokeshire from Sussex in 1992 to marry my husband who was born and grew up here. We have one grown up daughter who is training to be an Architect.
After decades of travelling in the UK and overseas, for both work and holidays, we decided that we would use our experience to provide others with good quality accommodation for their holidays and short breaks in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK.
We love meeting our guests and getting to know a little bit about them so we can make appropriate recommendations for their visits. Let us know what you like to do and we will do our best to help you get the most from your stay with us.
Why they chose this property
We purchased the Coach House (along with its semi-detached neighbour, the Barn) because we fell in love with them both when we saw them. Sometimes you walk into a property and it just feels "right" - that was exactly what happened with these 2 cottages. We loved them instantly so we decided to buy them.
My husband grew up in Neyland and his father was the fish merchant in Milford Haven in the days when the town had a very large and thriving fishing industry. Buying the cottages for guests to stay in and enjoy seemed very appropriate given the family connection with the town.
We spent 6 months refurbishing them into the cottages you see today. Our motto is "Environmentally Responsible" so we hunted high and low for very good quality pre-loved furniture. Beds and sofas are brand new but the majority of the remaining furniture has come to us from another home. Much of it has been sanded and hand-oiled to give it a new lease of life.
What makes this property unique
The location of the cottage is perfect for families, or 2 or 3 couples who want to have a very comfortable base in Pembrokeshire from which to explore and experience all that the county has to offer. It is perfectly located just north of the River Cleddau meaning that guests are never more than 20-30 minutes from anywhere in Pembrokeshire: from the sandy beaches and towns of Tenby, Saundersfoot and Amroth in the south, to the beaches and rugged cliffs of Newgale, Druidston, and Carfai Bay, the Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy or the beautiful city of St Davids.
After a day enjoying Pembrokeshire you can return to the cottage and relax for the evening either having a meal delivered, a BBQ outside or perhaps wandering down to the Marina for supper in one of the restaurants overlooking the water. The north bank of the River Cleddau at this point has several excellent places to eat and most are family and dog-friendly. As the river mouth faces west, the evening can be spent enjoying some stunning sunsets whilst sipping an ice cold beer or glass of wine.
