Located down a private, country lane, across a picturesque, slate stone bridge lies Mill Pool Barn. Its quiet and tranquil riverside setting really is the thing that Lake District dreams are made of. With private and secluded gardens, a bubbling beck running alongside, surrounding woodland the property is a haven of tranquillity. The Barn is also a wonderful vantage point for spotting wildlife with a large variety of bird-species frequenting this quiet corner of The Lakes. Mill Pool Barn has the benefit of direct bridleway access in every direction; with the Old Man of Coniston, Coniston Water and village, Beacon Fell, Torver Common & village and the Cumbrian Way all directly accessible from the front door without needing to use a car. There really is no better or more peaceful location for a break in the Lakes.
On entering this stone-built cottage guests are greeted with double height, vaulted ceilings. Several skylights flood the cottage with light. The bright and airy space is neutrally decorated and finished with high quality, bespoke furniture whilst the beautifully crafted and well-equipped kitchen means guests at Mill Pool Barn will find their every need is met.
