Located on the waterfront, this apartment is in Lido, a neighbourhood in Venice. Doge's Palace and St. Mark's Basilica are notable landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Port of Venice and Tronchetto Waterbus Stop. Maritime Station and San Giuliano Park are also worth visiting. Sailing and swimming offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and horse riding nearby.
This property had everything we needed, and the compact size, hidden drawers and compartments, made it really fun to explore for our children. Other than the floors being a little bit dusty, we had no complaints. Proximity to the beach is perfect and there are other restaurants and transportation very close by.
We had a wonderfully relaxing time at the little ship house. It was so fun to learn about its history and settle in. We enjoyed going out to some recommended restaurants but also loved preparing some simple meals at home after shopping at the local shops just up the street. Walking just a few steps over to the beach was awesome. And we even rented a cabana for a day. Lovely!
