Great spot for our 4 night stay

Great location just outside of Valencia - 20 min train to downtown. The owner provided a bottle of wine which was a nice touch. Would recommend.

Lovely house in a nice suburb of Valencia

This lovely 2 bedroom house in the suburb of Foios is nicely decorated and well appointed. The rooms are spacious and the outdoor area is particularly nice. It is a short walk to the metro to Valencia and about a 20 minute drive. The town is sleepy but very friendly, and like most Spanish suburbs, has a nice selection of restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

Foios is a short distance from Valencia, but not too far. The house is in a nice residential neighborhood. There are a few restaurants within walking distance.

Super charming house 20 min from Valencia center

Lovely Property

Foios is a small pueblo near Valencia, but an 8 minute walk to the metro, and 25 minute metro ride, gets you to the center of the old town quickly. The property itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. I recommend it highly.

Clara's home is wonderful and we very much enjoyed our stay there. Her home is very tasteful with a very eclectic and welcoming vibe The garden is a perfect retreat for eating or relaxing on a warm day. Having a parking spot at the side of the building also made life a great deal easier. We had a couple of minor issues that Clara responded to immediately with no fuss whatsoever. Valencia is a short drive away and the Metro is about 3 blocks away and runs frequently to and from Valencia.

Lovely place

Spacious and rustic house with a lovely garden. Well equipped kitchen and good beds. We haven’t used them, but there are two bicycles available. Foios is a quite and relaxed village, not particularly pretty but nice and convenient with everything you need in walking distance. Easy metro connection to Valencia city center. Would definitely book again.

Pretty place but false advertising and weak communication by the host made it a dissapointment

Beautiful apartment in quiet Foios, which we very much enjoyed. A bakery, shop and the metro are only a short walk away and a 20min metro ride brings you to Valencia city. The apartment was advertised with a hot tub as one of the popular fetaures, which we very much looked forward to. However, when we arrived, there was no hot tub. After contacting the host about it, we were made to feel a little rediculous, asking us what hot tub we meant. The host claimed it was a mistake made by the FeWo platform and didnt seem to feel the need to be apologetic towards us. From that point on the communication by the host wasnt great anymore. In order to receive some sort of compensation for our dissapointment, we had to repeatedly message the host to even receive an answer. In the end we were only offered a later check-out time, which we felt wasnt appropriate in this case and for such a pricy place. We gave the host many opportunities to solve the issue, but she didnt seem to feel it was important enough. At least that's how we felt. We felt ignored.

Sentimos mucho el malentendido Lina. Nosotros nos sorprendimos también al pedirnos la bañera de hidromasaje. La casa nunca ha tenido hidromasaje. Si apareció como servicio en la plataforma es debido a un error como te dijimos. Sería muy infantil por nuestra parte pretender engañar a nuestros huéspedes de esa forma, que como verás por los comentarios no forma parte de nuestro sistema de trabajar. De hecho en las fotos aparecen los dos baños y como puedes comprobar, en ninguno hay bañera de hidromasaje. No pretendemos engañar a nadie, ofrecemos lo que tenemos. Quizás la falta de comunicación fue debida a lo intempestivo y fuera de horario prudente de vuestras llamadas y mensajes y a un aparente interés monetario que percibimos. Tratamos de resarciros con una ampliación del horario de vuestra estancia. Además recuerda que también os permitimos entrar antes de la hora prevista pues nuestro interés es siempre que nuestros huéspedes queden satisfechos. Reitero nuestras disculpas por el posible trastorno que os pudiese haber ocasionado.

Es war alles OK. Die Schlüsselbox erspart warten, und wir standen nicht unter Zeitdruck. Einen Parkplatz haben wir immer in unmittelbarer Nähe gefunden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber hat gut geklappt.

Gemütliches Haus mit nettem Garten

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Wir mochten die Lage vom Haus in Foios weil wir von dort aus wirklich schnell in der Stadt waren und trotzdem sehr schöne laue Abende im Garten verbringen konnten. Ich habe insgesamt einen Stern abgezogen weil es teilweise wirkt als wäre das Haus noch nicht aus dem Winterschlaf erwacht: zB der Garten war nicht gekehrt und dadurch voller kleiner Blätter und Zweige, auf den Möbeln war Vogelkacke, heruntergefallene Orangen waren nicht weggeräumt, die Fahrräder waren sehr staubig und die Gummigriffe waren klebrig lösen sich auf. Im Haus selbst waren die Küchenutensilien teilweise sehr schmutzig, die Gläser staubig/belegt, die Klobesen inkl. Behälter nicht gereinigt und in den Fensterzwischenräume hat sich Lurch gesammelt. Alles in allem kann ich es empfehlen, allerdings hat mich die fehlender Sauberkeit sehr gestört.

Agradecemos tus comentarios Nicole. Nos tomamos muy en serio la limpieza de nuestra casa. Si alguna cosa no estaba a tu gusto o en condiciones podías habérnoslo dicho y lo habríamos solucionado de inmediato. Por otra parte, informarte que en primavera las pequeñas aves que habitan nuestro jardín tienen una actividad frenética pues están preparando sus nidos y alimentando sus polluelos por lo que no podemos evitar esos pequeños inconvenientes.

Gezellig huisje

Een leuk en net huisje met een gezellige inrichting. In de winter wel een beetje koudelijk door de stenen vloer. Je hebt wel een auto nodig want in de omgeving is niets. Als je alleen Valencia gaat bezoeken dan kan je beter iets in de stad zoeken, maar als je de omgeving ook wilt verkennen dan is de locatie prima.

TODO PERFECTO EN TODOS LOS SENTIDOS

Nunca estuve en ninguna casa de alquiler vacacional con este nivel de detalle. Superior y para gente que valora la excelencia. No le falta nada en ninguna estancia. Aparte la casa tiene historia y se ve en cuanto entras. Gracias por compartirlo con las personas que alquilamos.
