Cosy Beach house in Southwold, sleeps 4, pet-friendly
A SPACE TO ESCAPE IN SOUTHWOLD.
Number 5 is a characterful original property that sleeps 4. Suited to a small family and couples. Love Southwold's vibe, and want a beautiful & private place to check-in. Look no further.
Number 5 feels peaceful and restorative. It is a great escape from the business of life.
Situated a minute’s walk off the best beach in Suffolk. We are located in a very desirable and sought-after part of the town. Private and gated 2-bedroom detached holiday home with parking. There is landscaped gardens to mirror the stunning views out on the marshes. Stylish, functional and comfortable this is a recently refurbished original beach cottage.
Being located next to The Denes Beach & GunHill in Southwold, is ideal.
This beach is awarded blue flag, and is very well kept throughout the year. If you need to bring it down a notch, the option of a bucket and spade and beach chair, picnic are endless. Stripping down and soaking up the rays, or layering up and cup of tea with a toasted sarnie. The options maybe many, but there is one constant - a landscape that is simply beautiful.
Number 5 Southwold is central for the high street and the stunning harbourside. Southwold has a rich street life, culinary riches and pastel hued homes. There is first class seafood right on the doorstep - to spoil yourself. There are a number of quality independents, selective convenience shops for fish, meat, excellent wine, beer and cheese. There are so so many cafe's and bakeries in town. Lots of spoiling on offer. Many require no-booking so pop in and try for a seat (or have a takeaway).
I love the abundance off road walks through the marshes, along the harbourside to Walberswick and beyond. Its like a giant playground waiting to be tackled.
IT IS SO ROMANTIC AND RELAXED IN SOUTHWOLD.
The British Coast is just incredible - I encourage everyone to spend a holiday there.

Hi Louise,
Thank you for your review, I am happy the cottage was right. I take defiantly a lovely and unusual aspect from the garden on the marshes. I’m glad it was enjoyed. Have a lovely Christmas. Regards,
