Featuring sea views from the door step , The Straw Store at Maker Heights is a beautiful and enchanting conversion of a fabulous range of buildings being the most complete set of Napoleonic Barracks in the country. Part of The Sea Forts Cornwall Wild Coastal camping site on the Rame Peninsular the site has panoramic views across the peninsular, Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall.
This ideal retreat benefits from satellite high speed broadband and Wi-Fi, The Guard House Cafe is open between April and October, Licensed in The evenings, outside the season the Canteen is open for breakfast and lunches and evening entertainment most weekends at the Garrison Gallery and Patchwork Studios where you may catch a live performance.
Kingsand Beach is 1.1 km from The Straw Store, while Cawsand Beach is 1.5 km from the property. The nearest airport is Newquay Cornwall Airport, 74 km from the accommodation.
We are close to the Coast path and have great access to beautiful walking and cycling.

Hi Jess
I's sorry that your weekend was spoilt.
I still cant work out how Vrbo were able to book our property out even though it was closed on our booking system.
We fully refunded you all the money. We received monies from Vrbo but less their commission so were suitably out of pocket. We also worked hard to accommodate you on our glamping site which I had understood you were really thrilled with. In talking with your partner I had understood we had turned an bad situation around and that you would want to return thus I am surprised about the 1 star but I do understand that we didn't deliver what you had booked. I hope we see you again in the future.
