Nice property in a convenient location for nearby coastal walks both north and south. Parking is very convenient - off road at front of house.Lots of positives about the house but some negatives which made the visit less enjoyable than it might have been.Cleanliness: House was mostly clean but the freezer drawers were dirty and the skirting boards had not seen a duster in a long time.Layout: Bathroom is downstairs which isn't clear in the listing (not convenient if you need the toilet during the night as the stairwell is very cold and drafty). Hand soap is provided, but no shower gel/shampoo (it's not in the listing so that's fine but would be nice if this was provided as most places include this as standard these days). The bathroom ceiling is low and the bath is raised which makes showering an exercise in yoga for anyone over 6ft tall.In fact, the house has many hazards for members of the tall community (low light fitting at top of stairs, low doorways). I get that doorways can't be changed but the light at the top of the stairs could be raised easily to prevent banging of head when leaving the bedroom. We enjoyed our stay but doubt we'll return as this isn't an easy house to stay in for someone over 6ft tall.
