Ski Hills! Nubs Nob! Cute and cozy A-frame. A hidden gem! Great rates.

*We keep an allergen free house for our cleaning crew and future renters. Therefore, we have a no pet policy.

Plan well in advance for our peak Summer and Winter seasons. We book up quickly. Can't beat our location if you're skiing at Nubs Nob. You can walk from our front door to the ski hill within minutes!

Summer: Great getaway spot. Local hiking/biking trails. Beaches within minutes drive. Great Harbor Springs and Petoskey local shopping! Quiet wooded neighborhood. Perfect to have morning coffee on the front deck and listen to the birds chirping.

Winter: Ski Hill Location! Walk to the Nubs Nob Ski Hill (3 minute walk). Close to Boyne Highlands too (3 minute drive).

Great Value......can't beat our location. Harbor Springs 7 miles away. Petoskey 10 miles away. Both Skybridge of Michigan at Boyne and Mackinac Island ferry within a 40 minute drive :)

Chalet has 3 beds:
2 bedrooms (1 Queen bed in each) and a loft that looks over the main floor living area (1 Queen).

Central air conditioning, fully stocked kitchen, roomy outdoor deck. All linens and towels provided.

Perfect weekend or weekly getaway location. Close to both Harbor Springs and Petoskey (known for great downtown shopping). Several local beaches (summer) within minutes drive. Bring books/magazines to read. Move in and feel at home for your stay. Super for a romantic getaway or a family ski/summer vacation. Pelston Regional Airport is approximately 20 minute drive/Traverse City Airport about 90 minute drive.

Amazing property. We appreciated the quieter woodsy location while still being a quick drive to all the amazing things in the area. Home was super clean and the beds/ pillows were really comfortable. We slept great- it was an excellent home base (and we really appreciated the central AC on a few of those warmer days). Kitchen was well stocked with all appliances/ dishes we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Perfect for our low key anniversary getaway. Gary was super responsive. He was very gracious in response to us when we damaged a kitchen bowl. We asked how much we owed and he said nothing - these things happen. Not a big ticket item, but the best attitude.

The most lovely mother/daughter stay!

Awesome location!

We were up to ski at Nubs for the holidays and the location cannot be beat! The cabin is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is well stocked, and the furnishings are comfortable. The view out the huge front windows after a snowfall is something to see. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect base camp!

This cabin was the perfect base camp for some R&R + a few days of exploring Up North. The neighborhood is quiet, beds super comfortable, and the total vibe of the ski chalet perfect for our family’s summer trip. The grill and swing set were superb bonuses! With gratitude, the hosts were super responsive, and we will think fondly about our family time in their cabin for many years to come.

We Love this Chalet!

This is our family's second time staying at this chalet and we had another fabulous stay. So close to Nubs (and easy drive to Highlands). It snowed heavily just before we arrived and the driveway was plowed and steps / porch also cleared off. It was lovely to arrive to a clean and cozy house after surviving our white-out drive to Harbor Springs! The chalet is set up well for skiers with lots of hooks to hang gear on. We had a great trip - thank you Gary!

Perfect for our family

Thank you for a great stay. The cottage was perfect for our holiday ski trip - plenty of room & super cozy. Our boys loved the loft. The proximity to Nub's nob was fantastic - we were able to run back for lunch & ski breaks. I hope we are able to stay another time.

Great Property Great Location

Had a great stay. Property description was spot on. Gary was great to communicate with and very helpful. Can’t beat the location if your looking to ski at Nubs (walkable) or the Highlands. Will definitely plan on making our way there again in the future.

Great Lil Cabin

Home was neat & tidy. Plenty of towels & dishes to use as needed. Nice that the property sleeps 6 with beds (no one needed to use a couch). Rates were reasonable. Location is within minutes of downtown Harbor Springs & Petosky. We enjoyed our stay & would recommend.

Relaxing retreat

The A-frame was very clean with a well-appointed kitchen. We particularly enjoyed the deck and treehouse feel. We felt close enough to the nearby towns for restaurants and activities but really enjoyed being a bit out and away where it was very quiet and serene. I think this is a nice spot for any season. Communication with our host was excellent.

Why they chose this property

We bought our Chalet in 2003. Lived in it for 3 years - perfect for our pre-child snowboarding lives. And the A-frame style is super cozy - different from your everyday 'cookie-cutter' homes. When we bought a home in Petoskey (needed more room for kids), we had to find a way to keep the Chalet. It's too perfect to let go! So it's now available for others to enjoy as a rental property. We miss living in the Chalet - brings back great memories of the quaint neighborhood everytime we are there getting it ready for our next guests.
