The Huffy House is an attractive stone cottage set in a large garden with uninterrupted views over the countryside. This studio has a separate bathroom and spacious kitchen and dining area.

Amenities: Electric panel heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven, grill and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher. TV, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Private parking for 1 car. Gardens with lawns, patio areas, patio furniture, barbecue. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.7 miles, pub 1.8 miles. Note: Starter fuel for woodburning stove provided with additional fuel available to purchase locally

Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Town: Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Alnmouth is well situated for exploring Northumberland.
