The cottage has a modern, retro beach vibe and is a great base for exploring the surrounding area.

On the ground floor, you have a cloakroom, a fully equipped kitchen and an open-plan diner/lounge with french doors opening out onto the terrace and tiered garden.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a modern family bathroom, with a bath and separate shower.

There is parking for two vehicles on the drive, which is a rarity in Rye.

You are a few minute's walk from the town centre and beautiful walks and next door a great pub, popular with locals and visitors.

Almost 5 star

A very good house let down by a few small things. A house for 5 people needs more than 5 cups and many people like more than a single flat pillow each. Look to the small things and you will give a much better holiday experience
