A beautiful space for up to eight people. As a guest, you can access our home; the whole house is yours to enjoy. There is dining for eight people in the spacious dining room. With a mature garden, you can enjoy BBQs in the summer in glorious surroundings. The kitchen is very well equipped, and you can stay in and cook, or within walking distance, you can go into the historic city of Chichester and enjoy all of its restaurants. Or just put your feet up and relax in the oak beamed orangey.

Lovely house

Well located between the town and harbour so we could walk to both. Loved the log burner and coloured mood lights in the conservatory. Plenty of parking space and large garden. Our group of friends had a great time celebrating the New Year.

Excellent home base for a visit to Chichester

The house is as described in the listing, with four bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs and a second bathroom on the ground floor, along with a fully equipped kitchen, living room with TV and plenty of seating, and “the orangery”—a cool sunroom which is a great hangout spot. The backyard/garden is big and very nice. Everything in the house is clean and in good shape. The host’s guidebook in the house gives great recommendations for nearby restaurants, stores, and things to see in and near Chichester, which dates to Roman times. At the very least, walk to town along the canal and visit the beautiful 900 year old cathedral and the adjacent Bishop’s Palace Gardens. Just as a heads up—the street the house is on has a surprising amount of traffic. And make sure you’re perpendicular to the street when you enter the driveway, as the driveway’s brick entrance columns are closer together than American drivers may be used to. This house was a great home base for our family’s visit to Chichester.

Chichester Haven

We stayed at this lovely family home over the Goodwood Festival Weekend. Although our day was cancelled due to high winds (first time in 30 years) having such a comfortable retreat was a godsend. Comfy beds. Amazing shower room. Lovely large kitchen and more than enough space for an extended family of 6. Garden was gorgeous and the orangery/ conservatory is now my dream. Richard, our host was very helpful and prompt answering any questions. I would highly recommend.
