Luxury Guardian's Cottage with private heated pool and river access, Chez Bigot

The Guardian's Cottage at Chez Bigot features two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and all modern facilities. Sleeping between four and six it is suitable for a family or a group of friends.

The front door leads into a light and spacious open plan dining and sitting room, with large patio doors leading to the private terrace and garden.

Stone walls have been exposed revealing original candle recesses and oak beams used in the construction of the cottage. Modern comfy sofas (including a king size bed settee) and restored furniture from the region compliment each other to create a relaxing living area. WiFi, numerous board games and TV with a DVD player are provided.

A traditional stone built wood-burning fire takes centrepiece and in season warms the entire cottage, making the Guardian's Cottage suitable for winter lets.

The modern kitchen has views to the river and is equipped with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and plenty of work surfaces if you would like to try preparing some of the local dishes.

The first bedroom has a king-size bed, wonderful views out of the patio doors, antique furnishings and a large en-suite bathroom (with both bath and shower).

The second bedroom has an antique French double and single bed, modern en-suite bathroom (with both bath and shower) and patio doors to the courtyard with the heated pool and decking, which is a wonderful sun trap.

Both bedrooms are complimented by cotton bed linen, duck down pillows and plenty of wardrobe space.

Outside, the Guardian's cottage has plenty of space. There is the heated pool, a large decking area, enclosed courtyard and lawn and great views over the meadows, woods and the river beyond. The fenced in gardens and pool offer plenty of privacy within a secure environment.

Stylish garden furniture is provided, and whilst the garden receives sun all day, there are shade sails, umbrellas and shady areas to escape.

This is a large Gite (120 sq meters) with only one small step, providing a child friendly environment.
