The living area has a comfortable sofa, television and dining area all of which enjoy incredible views from the picture window, no matter the time of year you will marvel at the beautiful landscape. The spacious double bedroom also has lake views and is the perfect spot to lay in bed with a cup of tea in the morning and watch the boats on the lake.
Set in the Mendips, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, walks for miles can be enjoyed from the doorstep and the area is perfect for mountain biking, climbing, horse riding or fishing. Just a short walk away is the beautiful Blagdon Lake with its miles of walks, stroll down and explore the Yeo Valley Organic Dairy with its Organic Garden. The nearby city of Wells has a fabulous local market and beautiful cathedral to visit as well as independent and larger shops to enjoy. Head into Cheddar and sample some local cheese, walk the reservoir loop or take a drive through the gorge!
For some ancient Roman architecture, head over to Bath and sample the delights that can be found there. If a day by the sea is what you fancy, the traditional seaside town of Weston-super-Mare is always a winner with its grand pier and donkey rides! Longleat is well worth a visit, and the city of Bristol, with the SS Great Britain and Clifton Suspension Bridge, is within easy reach.
