This cozy single-level home features a king bed in the master suite, as well as a queen and two twins in the guest rooms. With the addition of the queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room, this cottage comfortably sleeps eight. Pets are also welcome.
Whether you snuggle up by the gas log fireplace in the living room on a cold night or build a fire on the spacious back porch to take in the scenery, Hawk's Nest has all the comforts of home, including a modern kitchen. The cabin is also graciously appointed with an assortment of items for guest use, including four sets of golf clubs, pool floats, two fishing poles, tennis rackets, and a cornhole set. Bear Lake Reserve: Found in the Tuckasegee Valley, in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains is Bear Lake Reserve, a master-planned 2,100 acre, gated resort bordering Bear Creek Lake. Bear Lake Reserve guests have access to all the private amenities offered by the resort including 9-hole Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course with a 40-mile panoramic view of the Smokies, Matchpoint Tennis, and 17 miles of maintained hiking and walking trails where you can spot waterfalls and mountain wildlife. The luxuriously appointed Lake Club offers guests access to the lakeside pools, waterslide, and hot tubs, private beach, gym and sauna, multiple lounges, onsite restaurant, and bar as well as a library and indoor theater. Guests of Bear Lake Reserve can also arrange equipment rentals, via the Lake Club, ranging from mountain bikes to pontoon boats. Effective May 1st, upon arrival at the Greeter's Cottage, all guests of Bear Lake Reserve will be responsible for paying a Resort Preservation Fee. This fee will be $30/day (with the maximum fee per stay being $150 or 5 days) and will be charged upon check in.
