Great stay for four nights. Good accommodation, easy access, good communication from the host. Quirky old building, make sure you visit the museum to understand the history of the bay. Well located for walks to Whitby and into the moors.
Delightful, cozy, and very liveable cottage--in fact with such easy access to the swimming beach and with the lovely little garden above the beck across the way, you will find yourself dreaming about living there long-term. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. I particularly appreciated the environmentally friendly washing up liquid and soaps. The host is wonderfully attentive and quick to respond to any questions.
A brilliant little cottage. Myself, partner and 8 year old son stayed here. It was a perfect size for us. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed including towels, washing up liquid and toiletries. The shower was powerful and hot. Wifi was also good. It is in a perfect location only a few minutes walk from the beach. The instructions from the owner were very useful and the communication was great. We definitely want to come again. We loved it.
When we arrived at the property we were delighted to see a Christmas tree and decorations through the window. This started our holiday in such a positive way. It made us all feel so happy and extended our Christmas feelings.
The house was very well organised and there were logs/kindling waiting for us near the fireplace. We had a wonderful time at the property, felt revitalized after beach walks, pub visits and evenings by the fire. We would love to stay again in the future. Thank you so much.

Aw thank you Rachael, such a lovely review, glad you liked the Christmas lights!
The location was perfect for a trip for a small group in the heart of the village of Robin Hood ‘s Bay, just minutes from the beach. The property was just a minute from the local store. To get to the property , there is a sleep hill down to the property but diections provided were perfect. We had a very comfortable stay. Only very slight negative was the steep staircase up to the bedrooms. We were 3 adults (aged 55 to 65) and did not cause us any problems. The kitchen to the property was well equipped and coffee and tea were provided! The kitchen did not have a freezer, but as we ate out in the village when we were there did not matter. Overall, an exceptional choice of property well recommended and we would return one day. Btw we live in Canada! Thank you Emma!

Thank you Nichola, it was fabulous having international guests. Yes the stairs are steep and winding, part of the quirk of the oldie worldy cottages in the Bay. Hope you can come again one day!
Kleines altes uriges Cottage.Alles vorhanden was man braucht.Die Küche hätten wir heller einladend er gefunden aber das ist geschmacksache.Kleiner wunderschöner Küstenort mit freundlichen netten Menschen.Leider war der Aufenthalt viel zu kurz.😌
