Hi Spencer, thanks for the review. Yes, I'm lucky to live in this part of the world; my grandad chose well when he built the bungalow where he did in the early sixties!
Nice bungalow. Love the fireplace and the heated floors. Hosted family for Boxing Day while their. Great location just of the high street. Owner was very accommodating.
Great bungalow with enclosed garden in a perfect location. Lots of places to eat in the village and lots of walks from your doorstep. Louie was a great host and very helpful.

Absolut kein Schnickschnack! Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Tolle Gegend für Ausflüge!

About the host
Hosted by Louie Brown
Hi, I'm Louie, I live next door to the Walled Garden. My father and grandfather built the mirror image bungalows in the early 60's and I have lived in one or the other for all but the first 18 months of my life! I'm an ecologist by trade and have had a life-long interest in natural history. I'm a keen traveller and love walking , especially in northern Spain where I have walked many old pilgrim routes (caminos)
Why they chose this property
My eldest son and myself recently renovated the property, which now keeps me busy. Over the years I have seen many changes in Long Melford but can't think of anywhere else I'd rather live!
What makes this property unique
The Walled Garden has a unique position in the village. It is located down a long driveway, so is very tranquil, but is also a 5 minute walk from a selection of shops, tearooms, pubs and restaurants. There is access via the back gate and cricket field to a selection of footpaths, ideal for those with dogs that need exercising. It is also a great location for exploring Suffolks medieval villages and for a longer day out the Suffolk coastline and nature reserves.
