Bay Cottage - A delightful home in the heart of Brixham, within easy walking distance of the harbou

Tucked away on Mount Pleasant Road, this cottage has its own garage parking and pretty courtyard garden. Recently refurbished but still with original features, the atmosphere inside is cosy and welcoming with tasteful, contemporary furnishings sitting beside sash windows, exposed beams and fireplaces.

On the ground floor you’ll find an inviting sitting room with ample plush seating, a TV and wood-burning stove. Also on this floor there’s a lovely kitchen which overlooks the courtyard, a family bathroom, and a generous separate dining area with fireplace and space for six guests. The cottage’s three bedrooms are upstairs and include a spacious master with king size bed, twin beds (configured to a king on request), and a small double. All are bright and airy with comfy beds and crisp linen.

Outside, the secluded courtyard and decking terrace make the most of warm weather relaxation and entertaining, where morning coffees or afternoon meals can be enjoyed in the fresh sea air and sunshine.

1 pet accepted: Please advise the Luxury Coastal team directly if you would like us to host your pet after completing your booking. A charge of £40 per pet per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay. We will arrange and invoice with you directly upon booking confirmation.

Good Housekeeping Bond
We ask our guests for a £200 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.

Seaside cottage

We enjoyed our stay at Bay Cottage as it was well equipped and clean. Great location as we were able to walk into town and to the waterfront, lot's of nice shops and restaurants. The outside terrace was beautiful with amazing views. Beds were very comfortable and the cottage was clean. The garage was great but somewhat difficult to access due to the narrow streets, luckily on street parking was available.

Cosy cottage

Stayed at bay cottage October 2024 such a cute place it was definitely home from home highly recommend close to the harbor had great weather to parking garage was a bonus to lovely cottage to stay in Thank you to the owners to !!

Cracking little house

Loved the house and location was perfect, the garage was an added bonus as there is very little parking in the area.

Excellent stay wanted for nothing in the cottage as mostly supplied Very well presented and location great Parking slight issue as people sometimes block garage entrance and exit Very enjoyable stay all round with family and dog Would recommend though

Great place.

The cottage was just what I wanted. 2 log burners, a garage, washing machine etc. The Internet was good, I was able to stream netflix etc with no issues. Coild not fault anything, just absolutely loved being there. Brixham is really nice as well. Plenty of dog friendly places etc. Would defo recommend.

Bay Cottage

Near to town but be aware it’s on a steep hill. States garage but could not access as parked cars opposite made it impossible to manoeuvre in or outParking in street difficult initially we had to leave the car in another street clean

Fun in the sun (and the rain)

Bay cottage is a lovely holiday hame away from home. The cottage was clean (though not immaculate - cobwebs around bathroom lights and lounge side lamp, dust in rope rings on bedside lights, bathroom floor unclean next to toilet), comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen. Beds are comfortable. The garage is spacious, but access was difficult due to the narrow street and cars parked opposite. It is a short walk from the town and harbour, via plenty of steps or steep slope. It was a little disappointing to get only one budget toilet roll and 2 dishwasher pods for 4 people for a week. Complimentary toiletries would add to the sense of luxury. We had a pipe burst in the kitchen close to midnight as getting ready for bed, requiring the water to be turned off. The emergency contact responded early the next day and a plumber came to sort the problem in the morning. You hope you don't need the emergency contact, but everything was sorted quickly.
