Town: Neslted in the Ribble Valley district and situated between Whalley and Clitheroe, is the charming village of Barrow. The popular village is home to the Clitheroe Golf Club, a good selection of pubs serving local ales, restaurants where you can sample the local delights with a delicious meal and well-stocked convenience stores with all the essentials. Barrow is the perfect tourist base for those looking to get out and explore Lancashire, with walks along the River Ribble right on your doorstep, as well as the National Trust site of Gawthorpe Hall just a short drive away. For a fun-filled day out, the Bowland Wild Boar park is nearby and offers the chance for visitors to feed the local animals, play areas, river walks and tractor rides, a perfect way to immerse yourself in local village life.
