We wanted to stay in the middle of ancient Rome in this area didn't disappoint. Walking distance to all the beauty of Rome has to offer. The location was very lively lots to do and see witdoorstep
Absolutely fantastic place to stay! The place was the perfect size for the three of us. Great location and within walking distance to a lot of the historical sites. Woman who manages the property was very helpful in every way. Place was clean, well apportioned and everything was as advertised. Would definately return again!
Simply nothing negative to say. An amazing property in an amazing neighborhood. We enjoyed our 4 days and wish we had 4 more. Michela is so nice and such an accommodating host. We would stay here another 20 times (if we get the chance!)
Apartment was well appointed, clean and large in a very walkable part of the city. We appreciated the provided coffee and teas. Very high ceilings inside (even the loft bedroom ceiling wasn’t as low as we were expecting). The building entrance and atrium were very clean and pretty (but those stairs are no joke! Our calves really felt those flights towards the end of our stay!). Good water pressure and the laundry machine was great. The apartment has a few too many large advertisements for the rental company which takes away from the lovely decor. The bed was ok not the most comfortable, and the two provided pillows were very flat - these could be improved but the most difficult part of trying to sleep was the street noise at night. The seagulls were so loud it was almost comical. Just full on screaming from 10pm to after 1am. We were there for 4 nights and it was the same each night. The restaurants on the street were probably the reason for the constant garbage pickups as well, there was loud glass smashing sounds fairly consistently in the mornings. The provided earplugs were great, we also had to play white noise on our phones to drown out the gulls. Trying to take out the garbage at the end of the stay was difficult as the provided map seems to be incorrect, there are no bins on the street where indicated.
Location of apartment was great. Right next to some ruins with places to eat just below. Away from the crowds but close enough to walk everywhere. Host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Host was helpful and spoke good English.
Appartement is great for a stay in the old city of Rome. Everything is within walking distance. Appartement itself is spacious. However if you are staying with more than one couple it might be a bit awkward as the bathroom (and toilet) is adjacent to the bedroom of the ‘ground’floor. You have to pass through this room. And there is a very good kitchen, but it could do with some more plates, cutlery etc.
The property was 'as advertised'. It would be great for a couple or a couple with a kid. It's unique. You feel like a local. And we liked that. The location is easy walking distance to the Roman Forum, the Pantheon and the Coliseum. We did each several times. It's fun to look down from the top floor of the building and watch people eating at all hours of the day.
Charming atmosphere with great character. Comfortable beds and adequate space. Nice natural light. Only one bathroom which is in the main bedroom. The place is on the top floor so there are at lot of stairs! (not good if you have mobility issues).
My 85 year old father and I stayed at this great property. He managed the steps but it was a bit of a challlenge. The Jewish quarter was fantastic. We loved the kosher restaurants but beyond that it has a vibrancy day and night. Very walkable. A kind note for our host who was very patient about the parking situation. And carrying our luggage up the stairs.
My partner, sister, and I enjoyed exploring San Angelo and Trastevere from this charming apartment.
The only bathroom is adjacent to the downstairs bedroom. Thankfully, we are all very familiar and it was not a problem, but something to be aware of if you plan to have someone staying in the loft.
The apartment is very nice. Well appointed and hosts offer help if needed. It has all the mod cons but retains its Italian feel. It is on the third floor with 6 flights of steep stairs. So carrying suitcases up was horrendous for me. But once up it was fine. Also commuting back and forth gets you fit.Grazia offered help when leaving but i was lucky a young man in the building offered help. The location is perfect in the Jewish Quarter so can delight in their and traditional Italian cuisine. Its walking distance to all the main attractions anywhere from 5 - 30 minutes. Many restaurants along the way and surprisingly reasonable prices. Cant go wrong with Pasta and Pizza. It can get noisy at night but hosts provide ear-plugs. I would recommend for fit people.
This was a great stay. It’s managed by a company rather than an individual owner so it was very well maintained. They did not respond to messages in the app but answered right away if I called. It’s a very rustic design, separated bedroom but plenty of room to stretch out. Very clean bathroom and linens were nice. It’s a three floor walk up but the inside courtyard provides lots of light and breeze. Very close to the Roman center so it’s a great location with lots of cafes and small stores on the street.
My 18 year old son and I stayed for 6 nights. The apartment is in a superb location that doesn't quiet until midnight and wakes up early.
Overall, we enjoyed having a washer and morning espresso but found dirty pots and pans in the cabinet. There were a lot of spiders (bring your benadryl) but the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was appreciated. Our host didn't answer messages so we were unclear about the checking out process but overall it was a great place to enjoy Rome.

Pros: There is a lot of space in the apartment. The communication was excellent. There is a washing machine which was great. Cons: we spent a lot of time in the apartment and the Wi-Fi in the apartment did not work well at time. The key to get in the front door didn’t work well and it took sometimes 2-3 minutes to get the front door to the complex to open. There were ants in the apartment when we bought bread and put it on the counter. You get 2 rolls of toilet paper we stayed 5 days and had to buy more. Also it’s loud between the restaurant below the building being open until 11 and the seagulls all night long (and I have a white noise machine) it was hard to sleep. The beds were not great and I woke up every morning with my back hurting. The road to the trash and to get a taxi was closed off to people for 2 days.
Overall, very good but two things:-1 the water container for the a/c was overflowing and obviously had not been emptied for days. Difficult to empty because it was so full and heavy.
2. A little more honesty about the stairs to the flat. We had to plan our day to avoid going up and down more than twice per day
The apartment was nice and beds were comfortable. The hostess, Michala was very kind to let us check in early and leave our bags before the official check in time. The Jewish ghetto is a great location with many great restaurants nearby.
We did experience plumbing problems due to very low water pressure. It was difficult to figure out the shower setting so that hot water was not lost during the shower. Also, the noise from the seagulls at night was so bad, it made it impossible to fall asleep until well after midnight. An upgrade to higher quality windows and a booster pump to increase water pressure would probably help.

Great Location - Bed Situation was weird and unfair
We were a little put off when we checked in, there are 2 beds (1 downstairs and a loft room upstairs). Knowing there were two beds, I knew it would work for our 3 total. The listing did not clean the bed upstairs because we didn't put that we had 3 guests staying. Although I do admit to only putting 2 guests on the listing it seems very odd that they wouldn't clean the 2nd bed. If we wanted to use that bed instead of the one downstairs they would CHARGE YOU. I find this insane. I booked a place with 2 beds for a reason. So because we had 3 guests and they did not clean the bed upstairs they charged us an extra 108 euros. Really ridiculous. There were also no pillows for the 2nd bed anywhere. This is the main reason its getting a 3 star rating.
Cleanliness - Overall it was a clean place ( minus the upstairs bed). The sheets on the downstairs bed had a stain that I found the morning of checkout.
They make your take your own trash the morning of checkout, they have a map that says its a 4 minute walk. It was not, the map is not correct and it was a struggle to find the bins. Took us 20 mins.
Noise - just note that this is a lively area with restaurants right underneath so there will be noise until around midnight or so. The windows don't really shut this noise out.
I would recommend staying here solely based on its location to everything. Just want to note the bed situation and extra money you will be charged if you don't put exact amount of guests.
This apartment was in an ideal location for exploring Rome! It is in a vibrant neighborhood with restaurants just out the door! The apartment itself had everything you could need. We didn't use the kitchen or laundry during our stay, but it would be convenient for those that would like to. The only negatives (and we had no issues with them) were the stairs to get to the apartment. The apartment is on the third floor and the steps themselves are marble, old and worn. The treads are narrow, so if you have a large foot, you may need to take some steps sideways. Also, you can hear when the restaurants clean up at night between 11-12 and recycling comes early in the morning. There are earplugs next to the bed to help drown out any outside noise (which was a nice touch)All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would choose this apartment again!
