Welcome to Lakeland Cottage. Located right in the heart of the village of Bowness-on-Windermere, lies a charming three-bedroom cottage, just a stone’s throw from Lake Windermere.
Could this be the perfect holiday home for all your Lake District adventures?
Step through the front door into the living room, the perfect sanctuary from any unkind Lake District weather and leave your muddy boots behind. Light, bright and cosy all at once, this spacious and versatile living space boasts Oak and Stone flooring oozing Lake District charm and character. The Lakeland stone fireplace is the perfect place to cosy up after a long day on the hills, relax in the flickering fire light, stretch out on the cosy sofa and spend your evening relaxing watching TV or enjoying a board game with the whole family.
Wander through the living room and head down the stairs to the kitchen. A beautifully serene and modern space fully equipped for all your cooking endeavours. A 5-ring hob and double oven provide ample space for cooking up the most robust of Sunday lunches! Sit down at the large dining table and enjoy a heart-warming meal. The perfect space to relax with family and friends.
Retreat back upstairs and through the living room to find the staircase to the bedrooms. On this floor, you’ll find the main bathroom is fitted with a separate shower and bath. Sneak a peek at the double bedroom, a romantic space with views of the front garden and plentiful clothes storage. Head up another flight of stairs to discover a further double and twin bedroom.
The cottage has a downstairs wc and utility/drying room, perfect for muddy boots and hanging coats big and small. There is a brand-new washing machine to make the unpacking just that little bit more enjoyable. Two Smart Tv’s and ultra-fast wifi are fitted in the house to keep the tech lovers happy.
Outside the front door of Lakeland Cottage is designated parking for up to two cars and set back private patio area the perfect place to enjoy a glass of fizz on the warm summer evenings or those crisp blue-sky mornings for coffee and pastries. Within the south facing front garden is a shed for safely storing cycles and other equipment during your stay.
A large, shared lawn is located around the back of the cottage, ideal for a game with the children or an impromptu picnic.
