The Crows' Nest is a family home with a joyful past just waiting to offer fun, relaxation, and great memories to others. It is in a perfect location less than a half mile from the center of town, hiking trails, Kebo Valley Golf Course, and a path to the ocean. Enjoy a beautiful view of Cadillac Mt. from your front yard! Leave the car in the driveway and use the free Island Explorer shuttle bus to enjoy all areas in and around Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island. A children's playground, wading pool and new YMCA are nearby, and a local farmer's market on Sunday morning is just steps away. This home has a queen bed and full bath downstairs, and 2 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs. It is warm and inviting for 6 guests.

Great rental! In the heart of Bar Harbor yet on a quiet block. Great access to Acadia! House is very comfortable, has lots of extras that make vacation easy with a family.

Marjie was a great host. Couldn’t find a better location in Bar Harbor. The farmers market on Sunday was across the street. Everything was in walking distance. Close to the Acadia park entrances, too. Had a great family vacation!

A perfect spot for our family and friends. All stocked, even with baby friendly items. Location is perfect close to all downtown walking and the ocean. Margie is fantastic! Easy check in, comfortable house and space. We hope to go back again sometime!

The Crow's Nest was the perfect place for our first family vacation. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Marge's place is cozy and had everything we needed, even a pack 'n play and a baby chair! The kitchen was well-equipped, and we loved being able to cook on the grill. The Crow's Nest is a superb location in Bar Harbor, near enough to walk to restaurants and shops, but tucked on a quiet side street. Marge's place is carefully taken care of and we felt honored to stay in her beautiful home.

We loved our stay at Crow's Nest. The location could not be better. We could walk to anywhere in Bar Harbor, but still felt like we had our own little quiet corner. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could need. Margie provides wonderful guides for the home and the area. Her little backyard was a bird oasis and we thoroughly enjoyed the back deck and views. Can't wait to come back in the future!

Amazing place, dream location on the edge of town! Walking distance to absolutely everything in Bar Harbor and quick drive to anywhere else. The Crows Nest was perfect for our group of 6 - myself, my husband, our two kids, and my dad and his wife. Marge was an absolute gem, leaving us delicious treats, giving the best local recommendations, and even leaving out a box of matchbox cars for my younger son. Her place is immaculate and very well equipped for a rental home with everything from laundry detergent to beach towels to board games and guidebooks. We cooked all week and the cozy kitchen had everything we needed. Backyard is lovely (Marge is a fabulous gardener) and watching the hummingbirds at the feeder was a treat. We enjoyed the playground and farmers market across the street and taking the Shore Path into town. Don’t hesitate on this one! We can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic Host and Location

Marjorie is the nicest host we’ve ever stayed with. Her accommodations are charming, very clean, well maintained with comfortable bed linens and towels. It’s such a great location, walk all over town, take a seaside stroll, and an easy drive to Acadia!

Weekend Away

As busy ladies and mother's, time to ourselves is rare. We spent the weekend in Bar Harbor and the Crow's Nest was perfect. It had a homey feel, perfect location and everything we needed to get away even for a short time. Would definitely stay there again.

Margie goes out of her way to make you feel at home. Close to everything from downtown to Acadia National Park walkinh distance to the Harbor. Our family had an amazing time.

Very clean, quiet, fully equipped, comfortable beds, excellent location a short walk from all the shops and restaurants in Bar Harbor. We even walked to Acadia! Everything worked. Check in and out SO easy. We had no need to contact Marge, but she was lovely when we had a chance to chat with her.

Family Birthday Trip

This property was absolutely charming! Marjorie was quick to respond to questions, the house had all the amenities we needed to make our stay very comfortable. The location was perfect, steps away from downtown and a short drive to Acadia NP. I’d highly recommend this property and I’d stay there again if we return to the area!

We loved everything about our stay. Marge was extremely helpful before and during our trip and had excellent recommendations that we took advantage of. The house is great for a family. We had 4 adults and 2 kids. It's an easy walk downtown and to a bunch of restaurants. Highly recommended!

Fantastic home!

This is the second summer we have stayed at this property. It is absolutely the BEST place to stay in Bar Harbor. It is easy to walk into town but located in a quiet neighborhood. The property owner is wonderful! We can't say enough good things about it! Highly recommend!

Excellent

Host was incredibly hospitable and the rental was very clean, comfortable, and you can’t beat the location. Across the street is a beautiful playground, baseball fields, skate park, and YMCA. Coffee shops and restaurants all within a 3-10 min walk. The Shore Path along the water is a very short walk. Just can’t beat the location if you have a small family.
