great cozy cottage right in Bar Harbor
Marjorie's home is comfortable and has all the basic needs covered. She has it well supplied with kitchen basics so we could cook in as much as we wanted and the living room area was cozy and comfortable for evenings of games or TV. It is a small home but in a great location a half block off of Main Street, Bar Harbor. Easy access to Acadia National Park. The upstairs bedrooms are under sloped eaves which makes it charming, but taller people will feel that in the tub/shower. Perfect for kids, however. The living space is comfortable and the kitchen has plenty of room to maneuver. The only complaint is that the wifi was a bit slow and weak, but we were there for the beautiful area and activities so we got over that quickly!!

Wonderful week in Bar Harbor
This lovely house was perfect for two friends meeting in Bar Harbor from two sides of the country. Location made walking to dinners in Bar Harbor a breeze and the proximity to the shore path was a joy. Yet just far enough away from the main bustle of Bar Harbor to be quiet and relaxing. Getting into Acadia for hikes and walks was quick and easy. The owner was super friendly yet unobtrusive. And the house was stocked with all the basics that made our stay a pleasure. I would definitely rent this house again.

Fantastic home!
This is the second summer we have stayed at this property. It is absolutely the BEST place to stay in Bar Harbor. It is easy to walk into town but located in a quiet neighborhood. The property owner is wonderful! We can't say enough good things about it! Highly recommend!

Perfect for Us
This VRBO stay may have been the best one we have experienced. I will mention Kim, in Netarts ,OR who will always receive our 5 Star recommendation. This home had a good location, quiet but also close to everything we wanted. It was very well stocked with everything we needed. It was very clean. The home was uncluttered. It had all the room we needed with very comfortable sitting, lounging and sleeping areas. The beds were very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure! The windows opened with screens to let in all the wonderful Bar Harbor fresh air. The weekly Farmer’s Market was almost next door! We came to really love and appreciate Chocolate-Latte, Peeky Toe and the small pizza place across Maine Street. The home is situated on a convenient short path to the Shoreline Walkway. Maybe best of all was Marjorie the host. From the very first inquiry into the property she was amazing. When I had questions, she mailed me a map. Marjorie offered wonderful, great advice and suggestions as to the Acadia hikes we might like, bike rentals and restaurants galore. By the way, she was right about them all! There were welcoming gifts for us upon our arrival. After meeting her, I only liked her more. For these reasons and more, Marjorie is a Super Host.

Great Week
We had a wonderful week in Bar Harbor staying at the Crow's Nest. The house is cozy and charming and just a short walk to both downtown's shops and restaurants and the beautiful views of the Shore Path. Marjorie is a great host - she's right next door to help if you have any questions. I would definitely recommend this spot if you're planning a trip to Acadia!
