We had a wonderful stay. Perfect location and easy access to everywhere we wanted to visit on the island. My kids didn’t want to go home and we wished we could extend our stay. We look forward to returning someday!
Lovely accommodations in a very peaceful setting. We absolutely loved the cabin and will be recommending it to everyone we know. Best vacation rental we have encountered in a very long time. Kudos to the owners!
This is a great little cabin. It was perfectly out of the chaos of Bar Harbor but also close enough it was easy to make a quick trip into town. Everything was clean, worked well, and we loved the organization. Only note of caution is the wood floors in the living areas do make a lot of noise which could be bothersome for certain groups, probably those with active kids. For 2 adults on the same schedule it wasn't a big deal. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.
Wonderful location with easy access to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor but with a wooded remote feel. Everything was there that we needed and working well. No complaints at all, but the beautiful wooden floors do creak which could bother some people. Would book again if come back to the area!
This was a great location, close to Hulls Cove Visitor Center and Bar Harbor. Everything in the house was as we’d expect, was ready early on check-in day and offered to us early without even asking.was very happy with our stay.
Amazing stay in a great wooded area. Close walk to the beach with access to find sea glass or shells. Great cabin, clean and very well maintained. Felt like home with all the amenities avaliable. Definitely highly recommended.
The cabin was beautiful and comfortable. Close to everything we wanted to do. The only reason I rated it a 4 were the creaky floors in the living room, kitchen and hallway, that was our only complaint.
Cabin was so cute and clean. Could have used a few more pots and pans but we ate dinner out most of the time. Neighborhood was. Beautiful and quiet perfect for walks.
Half Tide Lodge met all of our expectations and more! If you are looking for a home away from home, this one is for you. Clean, spacious, great outdoor space, and stocked with everything you need! The hosts were readily accessible to answer any questions we might have had. The cabin is just minutes from town and the park. AND it was a huge bonus to take a short walk to the end of the road and find a walkable shore line to explore! It was a perfect week in Bar Harbor!
We stayed in this beautiful cabin from Oct 1-8, 2025. We absolutely loved everything about it!!! The place had everything we needed from extra blankets to all the kitchen utensils needed to cook. Loved all the moose, bear, and sailboat decorations on the shelves and walls! Loved the outdoors feel of it with the woods in the back yard! It was wonderful when we sat in the back porch to drink our coffee in the mornings. The property owner (Mike) was so helpful. We called him because we didn’t know how to operate the heater because one of those days it dropped to 46 degrees. He came right over and we felt quite embarrassed as it was an easy function we should’ve done to get it going. He didn’t even mind and was so friendly when he was there. We asked him about some great spots to see in and around Bar Harbor and he broke out the maps and pointed them for us. We would definitely stay here next time we visit Bar Harbor!!
The location was great! Easy to get to Acadia and Bar harbor. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The owner quickly responded to our needs.
