Long narrow small stairs to get to 3rd floor apartment, once there,large & spacey, a/c worked great, very clean,finding the place by car wasn't that easy as some roads( if u can call them that) were being repaired,close to supermercato, and pretty much everything.

Why they chose this property

Casa Assenzio is a delightful and intimate two-room apartment whose tones and colors recall those of the famous liquor. Being very old, the building has no elevator and the stairs are quite steep, however this is part of the experience of a real Florentine house of other times. The bedroom window overlooks Sdrucciolo de' Pitti, a famous and characteristic Florentine alley, while from the kitchen and bathroom window you can admire the typical terracotta of the surrounding roofs that have always characterized the Florentine roofs. The apartment is located in an old building of 1700, typical of the historic center of Florence, a few steps from Palazzo Pitti and Piazza Santo Spirito and very close to Ponte Vecchio.
