Absolutely outstanding place, the pictures don't do it justice. The hosts were absolutely lovely and very attentive. We were a group of 10. It had brilliant and massive social spaces, the rooms were comfortable, the views were stunning, the property was gorgeous and extremely quirky. Two of the rooms were up a very narrow spiral staircase that wouldn't work for people with mobility issues. But that didn't bother us.It was really great all round, can't recommend it enough. Thank so much for a great stay.

Thank you for such a lovely review. We’re delighted the apartment exceeded expectations and that your group enjoyed the spacious social areas, comfortable rooms, and stunning views. We appreciate your note about the spiral staircase too. You were wonderful guests, and we’d be very happy to welcome you back anytime.
The apartment had everything we needed. It is quirky and has lots of antique and eccentric furnishings. The beds were comfortable and the 5 bedrooms are a good size, especially the master and ensuite. The lounge area is massive with a cosy fire and 3 comfortable sofas and has a bar area too. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything we need to cook for a larger family gathering. The large dinning tablw has views our to Criccieth Castle and the sea. There is also dedicated parking area that can accommodate 3 cars. The apartment is per friendly. We woould love to visit again.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the character and comfort of the apartment — it really is a unique space, and it’s lovely to know the antique touches and large social areas made your stay special.
I’m especially pleased the bedrooms, cosy fire, and well‑equipped kitchen worked well for your family gathering, and that you were able to make the most of the views of Criccieth Castle from the dining area. The dedicated parking and pet‑friendly setup are things we know guests value, so it’s great to hear they added to your stay.
You were a pleasure to host, and we’d be thrilled to welcome you back anytime.
The property was just perfect for our gathering, plenty of space for babies, toddlers, younger people, older people, dogs. It had a very well equipped kitchen, spacious dining area and sitting area. All the furniture and fixtures were robust.
We chose this apartment to take the family away for a week in North Wales, where we've stayed before. Ourselves, a couple of "active retirees!" with our 2 sons and their families so 6 adults and 4 kids from 3 to 14.
On arrival we were met by the host. Parking outside for 3 cars plus some on street parking. Up to the 1st floor and there's a massive living room and a few steps up to an equally massive dining and kitchen area. Everything you might want, a big range oven, big fridge and freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine etc. etc.
A massive (again!) en-suite and fancy bathroom, 2 more double bedrooms and another 2 bedrooms with twin beds. 2 bath/shower rooms and 3 toilets in all.
Stuff to do: well, the village has all the shops and pubs to keep you going (we cooked most nights) a stroll to the railway station (get the train to Porthmadog, Harlech, Pwllheli, saves parking!), park and mini golf, beaches. We also took a trip to Coed y Brenin for some serious mountain biking on the black route - gentler trails also in abundance. Black Rock Sands was popular with the boys for paddleboarding and bodyboarding but we preferred Abersoch which was sandy, had all the facilities and allowed the family to get bored while I went out on my windsurfer for an hour or two.
Any negatives? Well only that the jigsaw they have there was too hard and defeated us! One more day would have done it!
Many thanks Amanda and Mike, an excellent stay.
