We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. The cabin is very clean, spacious and comfortable. It was very peaceful sitting out on the deck enjoying the views. Lake Hiwassee is beautiful. We enjoyed boating and fishing on the lake. Shooks Marina is located down the road from the cabin which was very convenient. The management company was easy to work with and very friendly. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful and spacious cabin
This cabin has it all: the views, a hot tub, and a basement with a pool table. It was very clean and well stocked. We came here for a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the serenity and privacy this place offers. This cabin is very spacious with plenty of comfortable beds and couches. Additionally, being able to walk down to the gorgeous Lake Hiwassee and rent a boat was a huge plus. It can be a little hard finding the cabin coming off the main road especially at night so just be wary of that. Aside from this, we had a great time at this cabin and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get away for a weekend.

Very Relaxing with Great Views
Nicely appointed cabin just outside of Murphy. Carport is a big plus on those rainy days. You can't exactly tell by the pictures, but the basement is not completely finished. There is still work to be done on the basement walls and stairs and the basement floor is bare concrete so bring your slippers. Fortunately, the basement bedroom and bathroom have floor coverings. I'm sure it will be tip top when it's done. The first and second floors are first rate. The management company was very helpful as well. Would rent this property again if we return to the area.
We really enjoyed the property. It was very well kept up and we had everything we needed to make it feel like home. The only thing that happened was the A/C went out, but Mr. Rice who my husband called, was very helpful and nice. Overall, everything was great!!!!

Nice cabin but disappointed
We spent our Thanksgiving here so therefore a ton of cooking was done. At check out we cleaned w/ the exception of dishes in the sink since the dishwasher was running to clean those dishes. We scrubbed the stove top to the best of our ability, took all trash (except 1 paper plate & a small water bottle) to the garbage bin, put towels down the laundry shoot, folded blankets, & put things back that may have been moved. We did fail to make the 2 out of 3 beds upon departure. We were charged an extra cleaning fee for these things. I’m not sure what the other cleaning fee actually covered. The cabin is lovely & very secluded. It had wonder views & a great set up. We enjoyed this same cabin last year for our family of 4 Thanksgiving get away. Some things in the kitchen do need updating & the water is brown w/ a slight smell therefore having to cook w/ all bottled water. The fireplace did not work which was unfortunate seeing as if it was winter in the NC mountains. The hot tub had such a strong chlorine smell that we were unable to spend any time in it. The refrigerator didn’t cool in the beginning so we ended up having to throw away several food items. Like I said, it’s a beautiful cabin but just lacking some attention. Just still not sure why we got charged an extra cleaning fee when there were black hairs on our bathroom floor at check in & cleaned before we left.

Beautiful and Secluded
This cabin is exactly as the pictures show with perfect furnishings and an astonishing mountain view. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our relaxing weekend getaway in this cabin.
Pros:
-Absolute amazing views all around
-Plenty of Space as there were 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms
-Secluded. Outside of our trip to Walmart, I didn't see or hear anyone else all weekend
-Bed was so comfy in the master suite (we only utilized that one room)
-Jacuzzi is state of the art and jetted
-Water pressure in shower will leave you drifting away
-Kitchen was adequately stocked with cookware; however, there were no condiments
Cons:
-WAY TOO DARK. We arrived after sunset and separately. We were provided instructions on how to get to cabin but didn't find this helpful. The path was not lit at all and had several different paths to take. Too scared to get out of the car, no service at all, you are basically left to figure it out
-Pick up material for those arriving late was 30 minutes away from the cabin
-Cabins were completely curtain-less except in master bedroom. Although secluded, I would prefer the option. We opted to hang towels in the bathroom in place of curtains.
-Basement holds 3rd bedroom/bathroom, pool table and family are BUT it is so cold in that area I avoided playing pool.
Overall, I highly recommend this cabin for those looking for complete serenity and relaxing with your loved one and/or family.
