Perfect property for a getaway. Beautifully appointed, comfy beds, settees and kitchen. Bath was amazing and hot tub a real plus. Nothing negative to report at all. Would revisit without hesitation
We Had a great week at the property, Was very well equipped for self catering, plenty of room and seating in main part of house. Garden was spacious and pretty much an all day sun trap. Path to beach less than 100ft away and pub and shops/takeaways within easy walking distance. Through no fault of the owners the hot tub wasn't fully working when we arrived but was fixed during our stay. A couple of things to mention which are more suggestions than criticisms...my elderly parents stayed in the 2nd bedroom/outbuilding and said there was no drawer space in their room and they could have done with a mirror in the bedroom as well as there was no way to use a hairdryer in the bathroom. A lamp or overbed light would be useful as the light switches were away from the bed which meant moving in darkness to get back in to it, and a summer duvet option as the bed had a winter one on it (we stayed in July) Also the TV was streaming only which was a bit of a faff. The only thing which we would say was a criticism is that the shower in the main part of house was only ever luke warm, and the suggestion of using the second shower in the other bedroom because of it being electric felt a bit of a poor answer, especially as my parents shouldn't have to put up with myself and my wife waltzing in an out of their room to use theirs. Last but not least, a few courtesy logs for the fire would have been nice although the Spar up the road did sell logs and kindling.
