Travel cot and highchair available on request. 1 well behaved dog welcome.. Private patio with garden furniture. Lawned area (shared with other properties on site). Ample parking on-site. Please note: This property has a security deposit of £100 for any bookings which include pets, payable to owner on arrival. Holidaymakers only. . Located in a wonderful rural setting in rolling countryside on the Yorkshire/Lancashire border is Fallow House at Paythorne. This cottage has been constructed to give a traditional look yet meeting top ’eco’ specification to provide quality accommodation whilst caring for our environment. It is built in stone, giving the impression that they may have sat there for hundreds of years. Every last detail has been carefully considered to provide comfortable living. Fallow House boasts 4 en-suite bedrooms, with one on the ground floor with its own wet room, ideal for less able visitors.

Paythorne is ideally located for exploring both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. The village itself has a pub within 500 yards of the cottage, yet it enjoys a quiet, secluded location away from the village. There is a Post Office and garage for basic supplies 3 miles away, and the wonderful amenities of Skipton are within very easy reach. Paythorne provides an ideal location for walking and cycling, and there are many other amenities within the immediate area including a golf course. A warm welcome will always await you at Fallow House , and you are sure to be overwhelmed by the quality and location of this ’special’ cottage.

Fallow house is a lovely house and in a quiet location.

Fallow house is a lovely house and in a quiet location. Plenty of space for everyone without getting in each other's way. The owners were friendly and when the television broke it was replaced with a new one the next day. The pub in the village was good, staff were very friendly and the meals were lovely too.The only downside we found were that the mattresses were very uncomfortable and the noise from the television of the attatched cottage was loud as it was in the adjoining wall/corner.
