With the public footpath meandering past your garden, it’s only a 5-minute walk along to this glorious beach - a truly unique location.

This spacious cottage offers direct views from your living room out across the ocean and boasts a log burner, and hot tub where you can enjoy a glass of wine whilst star gazing. The famous and historic cathedral city of St. David’s is a 10 minutes’ drive away with its 12th-century cathedral and medieval ruins of Bishop’s Palace that you can explore. There are many art galleries, gift shops, good choice of restaurants and traditional pubs specialising in local produce, making it a great location.

Southwood Cottage offers a great base to uncover this area. Its bright and airy, well-equipped kitchen which leads through to the spacious living/dining room where you can enjoy those views, curl up on the sofa with a good movie with the glow of the wood burner, or sit back with a good book. Each bedroom has been finished to a good standard and lovingly furnished throughout with the master bedroom boasting an en-suite shower and access to your private sun room. The large garden to the rear is lawned with a glorious summer house for some relaxation whilst the front garden enjoys a patio area complete with hot tub and those amazing views.

Travelling north, you will uncover the fishing village of Porthgain and a delightful restaurant which specialises in local freshly caught sea fish. It also overlooks the harbour making it a delightful setting, or travel south along this picture postcard coastline to Little Haven and then on to tranquil St. Brides, complete with crystal clear water and great diving, kayaking or fishing. The Pembrokeshire coast path is easily accessible from your garden and one-way walks can be facilitated with the local bus service which passes through the village of Newgale. Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, is a fun day out for all the family, and located only 30 minutes away, or for those with younger families, be sure to visit Folly Farm Zoo where you can see rhinos, giraffes and even lions!
