What is there to say AMAZING from the moment we arrived we loved out holiday. Sandra and John just wonderful people who make you instantly feel welcomed and at ease everything you could possibly want is in the lodge and a lovely touch is the file on the area things to do see and eat. We have had a rubbish two years and we're looking for a place to rest relax and regroup our mental health this was certainly that place from enclosure at the back for the dogs and my grandson to run around to the sites of the mountain covered with snow , supermarket not far away in castle Douglas and red deer to be seen near new Galloway forest. Just a wonderful place to regroup and rest with beautiful views cheeky wildlife encounter with eagles and wild birds, as well as red squirrels and wild goats just the best time I could possibly ask for . And top it all with a great night's sleep , milkyway and star gazing.
