Wherever you are, sitting by the fire, enjoying dinner at the farmhouse table or better still, outside in the private hot tub, the views are amazing overlooking open farmland and the Galloway Hills in the distance. If peace and tranquillity are what you are looking for, Heron View is perfect. Why not enjoy a family get together as Heron View can be booked along with Robin’s Nest and The Byre for that lovely family break, yet you can still enjoy a bit of peace over breakfast in the morning. From Heron View take a walk into the picturesque town of Kirkcudbright and take a stroll round the harbour and pop into the numerous shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants, and the impressive ruins of MacLellan’s Castle. The best of both worlds!
Known as the Artist’s town, Kirkcudbright attracts visitors throughout the year drawn by the harbour, the historic high street and the diverse range of annual events and visitor attractions. A lovely clean and comfortable cottage in a very peaceful location but only a mile from small local shops and supermarkets. Lots to do in the area and plenty of great dog walks. The hot tub was an additional bonus, lovely to sit in and look at the stars!
