Welcome to The Lighthouse - Right at the heart of The Bay Filey Holiday Village (see below for more information).

Purchased by the new owners in mid 2024 and featuring refurbished parts this is a stunning property in one of the best locations.

Enter into the hallway with access to the downstairs cloak / WC. Walk through into the large open plan lounge and dining room with luxury flooring, leather sofas and patio doors to a large patio and grassed area

This property features a separate kitchen including dishwasher, washer/dryer etc.

Upstairs the property comprises of 1 king bedroom with stunning Juliette Balcony - relax and enjoy the view.

There is also 1 twin bedroom and a large family bathroom complete with bath and overhead shower (new in 2023),

Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).

We leave a few games for our guests to use. This warm and cosy house is ideal for breaks all year round.

Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

The Lighthouse Cottage

We were very happy with the Lighthouse Cottage it was so cosy and furnished so lovely. We can't wait to come back and stay at the Bay Great value for money We usually holiday in caravans and my son recommended the Bay - we will never go back to caravans again Wonderful stay The cottage was very well equipped it had everything we needed and more Thank you for a wonderful holiday

Comfortable cottage in perfect location

Fantastic break at The Bay, felt at home as soon as we walked in. Located close to the pub but this isn't a problem as it isn't noisy. Only a very short walk to the pool which was a bonus to me. Lovely rear patio area, screened with bushes, not overlooked at the rear as backs up to hedgerow and coastal path. If you are lucky you will see a rabbit or two.

Short stay in the lighthouse

Just back from a few days away staying at The lighthouse property, was a great base for us to go out each day to the local areas, and each night walk the dog on the beach. Will definitely look to book again in same or similar property in Anchor Bay

Great stay in an excellent property.

Great house, near to all amenities. Will definitely book again! Never quite know what you are going to get in a dog friendly property but everything was perfect. Communication with Anchor Bay was amazing.

Lovely warm and cosy cottage near to the pub and beach just a couple of things let it down , the blind did not close in the kitchen so everyone could look in as they walked past ,it would have been wonderful if the owners had agreed and put some xmas lights or tree up to make it a bit more festive

Great Anchor Bay Holiday

From start to finish yet again Anchor Bay Holidays provided a well managed holiday property. It is comfortable, well equipped, close to the pub and beach access. It is reasonably quiet and with the property orientation making the lounge and main bedroom private. Thanks to the owners and especially to Anthony at Anchor Bay Properties. We'll be back.

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a delightful house situated at the heart of The Bay and just over the road from the main facilities and only a short walk to the beach. Decorated to a high standard and fully equipped with everything you need for a hassle free stay. This is the second time we have chosen this location as the whole family enjoys it so much. We had another excellent stay and are sure we’ll return. We would definitely recommend it.

Just the small things overlooked, but otherwise a brilliant stay.

We stayed in The Lighthouse over the Christmas period, the place is very nice but the little things are letting it down, such as it could have had some Christmas trimmings put up, instead it was just the standard holiday let ( I say this because we stayed last year in one of the lakeside lodges and it was beautifully trimmed up) which made our stay even better. There is dust and spider webs on the joints of the walls and ceilings in the lounge, the roller blind in the kitchen didn't work correctly, and the sink in the bathroom is far too small to wash in, but having said that we still enjoyed our stay at the Lighthouse and would still recommend it to others, you have to make your own memories whilst away from the every day grind, and The Lighthouse at The Bay is a very good place to start.

Expectations of The Bay and proximity to Filey and Scarborough.

We were pleasantly surprised at the lighthouse cottage, it had absolutely everything that we need for a independent stay. The proximity to the pub and leisure centre( morning swims) was perfect for us. Access to the bay and coastal path was easy to find and well signposted.we enjoyed our stay and would certainly revisit, you made everything so easy for us . Thankyou very much.. Ps, all the staff we encountered were friendly and professional. Xx
