Pineapple Cottage – the perfect symbol of hospitality on St. Simons Island.

Real Escapes is pleased to offer the Pineapple Cottage. The pineapple has served as a symbol of hospitality, warm welcome, and good cheer for many years, and this Cottage is appropriately named!

The single level home is comprised of two bedrooms, two baths, living room, dining area, fully stocked kitchen with a work station and family room. The flooring consists of hardwood and tile throughout. There are 3 TVs as well as wireless internet access.

The home features a large screened porch, with ceiling fans, that extends across the entire back of the house. The porch overlooks the expansive backyard creating a serene place to relax. This cottage is equipped with a washer and dryer as well as a gas grill. The cottage is a "dog-friendly" property complete with a fenced in yard!

Ashantilly is a quiet street located off of Kings Way in the historical Kings Terrace Subdivision near the Pier Village Area. The Cottage is a very easy walk or bike ride (only 0.5 mile) on the path to the beach and village. The closest beach is a very dog friendly, low tide only beach and a favorite spot for viewing the 4th of July fireworks shooting off from the St. Simons pier. Within the Village you will find several great restaurants, bars, retail shops, and lots of outdoor activities. At the far end of the village sits the pier. The pier is perfect for fishing, crabbing, sunset strolls, and watching the schools of playful dolphins. Past the pier, stroll the oceanfront path leading to the large community grill area under the large live oaks, two play grounds, the newly remodeled oceanfront community pool and mini golf, the Saint Simons library, and the historic lighthouse.

Nice little place

Clean and comfortable, updated house. We had a fun time biking to the beach, lighthouse and the restaurants nearby. Great location. Cooked some great food on the gas stove.

Great house, perfect location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a short stay but a very nice home. I wish there was a king size bed in one bedroom and there is an issue in the vanity in the second bathroom, but overall, it's a lovely property. I would recommend this home to anyone.
